- Bug Fixes: To improve overall playback performance, bug fixes have been implemented to alleviate issues stemming from HDMI interoperability, audio drops, and trick play (play, pause, fast forward, rewind).
I second that. Also want to test it myself and check how DV looks now since the HDR there is basically broken in at least some displays like LG or Denon AVRsAny chance for more detailed info on the "HDMI" related bug fixes?. With all the discussions and brainstorming that has been going on, i would be interested in knowing what was found/fixed with regards to HDMI issues.
This is great but will there be any tags to tell us what movie ir in which format , 4K,HDR etc? Like it used to be.Just a friendly reminder to those who may not have seen the "Sneak Preview" thread -- the cover art improvements are actually going to be partly in this new kOS release and partly in the December headend software release.
The kOS side will improve how the player handles scaling cover images for display. The headend side uses a different algorithm for transforming the master images to prepare them to for download to Strato V. Depending upon where you fall in the roll-out cycle, you may notice an initial improvement followed by further improvement in December, or you might see the combined improvements in a single step.
For example, @Techthusiasm, as a dealer, is in the earliest update group, so he will see the kOS piece first followed by the headend piece in December.
Additionally, just to set expectations: library covers will look better immediately after the player updates. Store covers need to be re-downloaded, and so if you rush to the player to look at it right after it updates, you might briefly notice no improvement on covers for unowned content.
Finally, regarding Scripts in the Browser Interface, that's visible on dealer systems to facilitate creating demo scripts for showrooms. It's still available via the direct URL for customer systems.

What does that mean? The best part is that scripts have been grated "Agency" with this release!View attachment 6355
I second this. Mike reported my DV findings to the team and I’d be willing to test out if the fw update fixes the DV issues I was seeing. We need a early/priority update group for KscapeOwners! Get feedback from forum members since this group is interested in new releases.
I'm still waiting for my systems to be updated but curious about the movie wall improvements.
It just came out.Still no update for me so guess in final group
Curious, how many total weeks/groups do these updates usually take? The Dealer rollout is in multiple stages. Your system might be in one of the follow-on groups.
Thanks for the info.If my recollection is correct, there are 3 or 4 customer groups that follow a couple early groups (beta, dealer, etc.). For a typical launch, each group takes about a week (maybe a little less) with the entire rollout taking around a month.

Are both setup under your dealer account or is one for the dealership and one is personal?I'm a dealer, one of my Strato V's received the update and the other has not. Strange.![]()
