KEAOS (Software) UPDATES

I know @J.Green posted on Thursday that the next rollout was today. Anyone know when the next one will be? Does it only happen on Mondays?
 
I think I’ve been pushed back into a later group since adding a mini Terra because my V updated on 16th Dec 25 but when I checked the version from the system it said January and I haven’t got the update today. Not that I actually care since I’ve not fired it up for over 2 weeks now!

I’ll have to check the unit itself to see if it still shows different dates to the web IP and then see if they sync up when it updates next.

During a typical rollout, customer systems are split into a few groups (I believe 3–4), and updates go out to one group at a time—not all at once. Your system won’t even try to download the update until it’s your group’s turn.

There’s usually about a week between groups, so a full rollout can take a few weeks to a month or more. Sometimes they may move faster, but that’s the general idea.

Before customer groups, there are also alpha/beta/dealer groups that get it earlier, but for the rest of us, it’s basically just a waiting game based on your group.
 
I was having a flickering/strobing effect with scene changes on HDR content and K support actually pushed the update to me this morning likely way ahead of when I would have received it. Thankfully it seems to have fixed my issue. Not sure why it just showed up now as my setup hasn’t changed at all but glad it was fixed.
 
In the update, does Dolby Vision now require HDCP 2.3 equipment to pass thru the signal? My equipment is HDCP 2.2 and passed DV thru before the update but doesn’t now. I have tinkered with the settings but to no avail.

Yeah i know how it works. Just that i seem to always be that last group... not that im feeling targeted or anything! :)
 
me too. Not in any particular hurry but seem to remember I was late on previously.
 
I don’t think there is my point checking daily, pretty sure it’s done weekly looking at the update dates. My V is showing on the web IP as updated 16th Dec but my newly added Terra V (added in Feb) when I check the system menu on the device shows as updated 13th Jan which is exactly two weeks later.

Mine is showing 12th January. I’m having a server added this afternoon, so guess I’m looking a bit more than normal
