KEAOS (Software) UPDATES

When i login to the browser for my-kaleidescape/components... I am getting a warning message "One or more Kaleidescape components has a network misconfiguration". everything still seems to be functioning properly with access and downloads so not sure why I am getting this message. But I am concerned this could prevent me from getting the new software update.
I noticed I had the same message on the Components page of my standalone E. I started up my player and tried playing the trailer of one my downloaded movies and I got a similar message and the trailer wouldn't play. So I backed out of that and just tried playing the movie itself. That started to work. I stopped the movie and went back into the trailer and it played fine.

I decided to then click the restart button on the Components page. That seems to have fixed the issue, as the warning message disappeared once the unit restarted.

For the record, we virtually never push out updates over or just prior to a weekend.

To be more specific: systems that aren't necessarily kept online all of the time might get fired up on a Friday and discover that they have a software update available, download it and apply it but in cases like that, the update has been available and waiting for that system since earlier in the week.

Safe to assume that if we don’t see the update today (Thursday) then the earliest we might see it is next week? I know K usually does a slow rollout, but based on the lack of feedback from people on the forum it feels slower than usual. Does it just feel that way since we’ve been waiting so long, or were there issues discovered during the initial rollout?

Any feedback from K would be greatly appreciated.

The earliest I've ever received an update was about the three week mark, generally closer to a month.

My system updated on Monday, unfortunately I've not had a moment to turn it on since.

The rollout is progressing on schedule. The next tier to get the upgrade will go out on Monday morning. The entire rollout will be completed by 27 April. Given that we started on 06 April, the entire rollout spans 3 weeks and is not "...slower than usual"

Thank you for the details. Sounds like a great rollout timeframe. I’m sure I speak for everyone that we are all eager to get the update! Can’t wait! Fingers crossed for Monday am!

My update happened and now my Strato V doesn’t pass Dolby Vision to my Sony Bravia 8. Doesn’t matter what setting it try. The Sony is set correctly. My home theater audio is set to pass through too.

I know @J.Green posted on Thursday that the next rollout was today. Anyone know when the next one will be? Does it only happen on Mondays?
