The originator of the thread you linked said he was having drops every 30-120 seconds. Am I right in thinking that the ones you had with Fall Guy were not that frequent?

No, definitely not that frequent. About 5-6 incidents in total. The originator of the thread you linked said he was having drops every 30-120 seconds. Am I right in thinking that the ones you had with Fall Guy were not that frequent?
my issue was with in Dolby VisionWatched Twisters last night. HDR10 version. No video issues but did have a brief auto-dropout for a few sec once when coming out of pause/intermission. i.e video started playing but no audio for 2-3sec.
What is the time stamp? I will hook my V up to my A90J this evening and check it out. What picture mode are you using?Once after taking a break I resumed Twosters and my screen started flickering.
I had to restart the unit.
I haven’t watched Twisters again..
Stopping this stuff requires a complete rerun of a movie.. and I’ve only had the device for 3-4 days.
I managed to record this issue.
I couldn’t recreate the issue. What is the time stamp? I will hook my V up to my A90J this evening and check it out. What picture mode are you using?
Was the V connected directly to the A90J or through an AVR? BTW, there has been at least one other report of issues with Furiosa on an LG TV with flickering and audio drops with DV.I couldn’t recreate the issue.
Because I watched the movie once.
Rewinding couldn’t recreate the issue.
I watched the whole movie and the screen blackout twice and audio dropped out together.
Towards the ending in the theatre room when the roof top gets ripped out is when the screen blacked out for me with the audio drop out.
The other scene was during the initial tornado scene.
Also once I paused the video in the above sense resumed it and then it stated flickering.
I’ve linked the scene but I couldn’t replicate the issue again.
I’m using Dolby vision bright on my A90J.
I’d have to watch the movie again to get a second finding.
The black screen thing has occurred via the tv and my b&o theatre avr.Was the V connected directly to the A90J or through an AVR? BTW, there has been at least one other report of issues with Furiosa on an LG TV with flickering and audio drops with DV.
Hello all,
I just touched base with @Broncowrangler via PM to bring him up to date on some of our investigation so far, and got a bit of an update from him a well.
First things first -- he reported to me that changing his LG's picture mode to Filmmaker Mode resolved the brightness fluctuations that he had seen with Furiosa and other movies. So that's good news, and was consistent with our internal testing so far which found that our own LG (different model) could show some fluctuation in certain picture modes, but not others. For now, this seems to be an issue with the LG's processing.
Regarding the audio drops on Furiosa, there are two specific locations in the movie that have momentary audio drops when played on Strato V. We have reproduced this in-house on multiple different audio processors, and we have also found that the identical movie files play without issue on Strato C. So, it seems that there's something about this specific movie that is causing a hiccup in the bitstream on Strato V. This is good news, because it's a reproducible case that will allow our team to efficiently investigate. (For what it's worth, I watched the movie last night for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it!)
So, excellent progress so far. More info to follow as I have it.
For the sake of clarity when connected directly to the tv I was using the 4th hdmi input. Was the V connected directly to the A90J or through an AVR? BTW, there has been at least one other report of issues with Furiosa on an LG TV with flickering and audio drops with DV.
