Movie Updates

I have a Strato C, I think this was the HDR version. If you have a Strato V, then you’re probably running the Dolby Vision version which was not updated.
I'm using two Strato C's on my main system. So, I only have the HDR version downloaded to my system. (The Strato V is separate, standalone and does not have the title downloaded.)

I'll just delete it, and re-download it to be sure that I get the update. Thanks.

Hmm that’s strange then 🤷🏻‍♂️.

I downloaded both updates of avatar and avatar Way of water yesterday at around 5 PM. Both of them had video and audio improvements, as well as updated supplemental features which I did not download. I didn’t see anything about a subtitle track update.

I got both yesterday as well. Strato C & HDR versions. I already have all of the Extras downloaded and it didn't try to download/update any supplemental material. (What's really missing is the Special Edition of the original in 4K HDR. Due to that not being available - not K's fault - I'd honestly never watch this movie on K. Good for demos though.)

District 9 (2009) HDR version updated
  • Audio and video improvements

Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) HDR version updated
  • Added audio track: English (PCM Stereo)

Midway (2019) HDR version updated
  • Added audio track: English (PCM Stereo)
  • Added extras (separate download in HD)

Knives Out (2019) HDR version updated
  • Added audio track: English (PCM Stereo)
  • Added extras (separate download in HD)

Meet the Fockers (2004) in HD from NBCUniversal updated to Dolby TrueHD Atmos from DTS-HD Master 5.1

Thanks. I wish K-scape would have let everyone know this. I'm glad it's there but I have no idea why they decided to create an extra step for this.
Not an extra step, just a different name. I wonder if some of this is for branding and trying to get away from people constantly comparing download size with discs and whatnot (as if it means something).

Watched "Romancing the Stone" for the first time in many years (still fun!, although nothing has aged worse than 1980s fashion and movie scores...) Also, @MikeKobb the movie description needs to be updated. It says they're in the jungles of Columbia (University) instead of Colombia (the country.)

Fixed! It may take a day or two to propagate. Thanks for the heads-up.

So "The Heat" (Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy) was just updated. I noticed the download says "Theatrical Version," but the cover says Unrated. Any idea which this is?

Did it used to be both? That's happened to quite a few of these...

FYI, the running list of titles that had alternate cuts removed as part of the HD Compatibility update:
Alien 3
Alien Resurrection
Alien vs. Predator
Bad Santa
Green Lantern
Little Shop of Horrors
Rocky Horror Picture Show, The
That Thing You Do!

Right now the only one we know is permanent is Bad Santa, but I suspect both Green Lantern and The Rocky Horror Picture Show may not return to their prior dual-cut state.
