Last movie watched

We are close to finishing the Harry Potter main series as a family, but we also watched Dog Man the other night. We are fans of the books. Crazy and fun reads if you have kids. I think they did well by the books with the movie.

I also recommend Bad Guys, the movie and particularly the book series, too!

Watched Mickey 17 yesterday:
I went in pretty open and I had a fun time. The trailers do a decent job of setting things up, and my only recommendation would be to have an open mind regarding tone. Coming off of Parasite, people might expect something fairly serious. However, if you're familiar with Bong Joon-ho's earlier work you'll know there's often a playful undertone. Well, if I had to describe Mickey 17 to someone I'd say: "Snowpiercer + Silly."

Shhh... Don't tell K... I don't think Mickey 17 is supposed be on the K Store. Warner pulled the digital release at the last minute, with no new date set (rumor is a couple of weeks). This is why you won't find it on Apple, Fandango/Vudu, etc. I'm surprised it's still up.

Sorry folks! Next time I’ll keep my trap shut. :/

For the record:

<Makes 27 posts pointing out K doesn’t have Star Trek The Motion Picture: The Director’s Cut.>
K Team: …

<Tries to give fellow owners a heads up.>
K Team: “Take it down! Go! Go! Go!”

😛

Still here waiting for Companion to be equal or less than the disc. May just buy the disc at this point.

I did just watch Romulus on K for the first time and glad I did. Enjoyed it more than in theaters and the sound is awesome. :)

Companion was great. I pulled the trigger to buy it as I’ve already watched it twice.

The Perfect Host
Absolutely, one of the finest films I have ever seen. Dark black comedy/thriller...endlessly surprising from one scene to the next. Absolutely in my top 20 list.
