Help me understand real benefit of Lumagen or MadVR

Thanks for the advice. So I have a sort of recent flagship (Sony A90j 83 - boughy Jan 2022). Peak nits is said to be 1300-1400. I’m assuming my benefits would be minimal to plus/minus

If you can, check out some challenging scenes - like the Harry Potter one shown on madVR's homepage. See how your TV handles that particular scene, and it may give you some idea of the type of improvements in might provide with HDR content.

Alas, neither platform can do much for how trite and cringe-inducing Harry Potter is.

I am afraid to ask this...but when looking at the Harry Potter challenging scene between JVC and Envy....yeah there is noticeable difference.....but do we know which is more correct/closer to directors intent?
