Hey Mike, out of curiosity, what is the new codec for HD?As an example, one of the possible reasons for a title to be incompatible with Strato V would be if it is using the VC-1 codec, which the new chip in the Strato V does not support.

See @MikeKobb response previouslyI know this feature has been asked for a while now, but with the V has there ever been any serious consideration to add a movie menu that shows a K user their complete owned movie library? I get you want to sell Terra's, but IMO downloads are getting so quick now that owning the biggest Terra isn't as important to most home users as it was years ago and this option would just add to the easy functionality.
(Bonus points if you can make it play random trailers and Trinnov demonstrations while the movie downloads to enhance the theatre experience.)
@StanfieldNC hit the nail on the head with this question. Will any current library TV shows get the Dolby Vision treatment?
Just an update:Hey all, a quick note for those of you wanting to check out which movies are available today in Dolby Vision. If you go to the store website, you can pull up the All Movies view and use the Video filter to select Dolby Vision. If you're interested in a specific movie, just open its details. There's a new Dolby Vision badge that will show up after the 4K badge if the movie is available in the Dolby Vision format.

This is not yet supported on the mobile applications but will be shortly -- both iOS and Android are in final QA now and should be released in the next few days.
I just feel my use case in taking advantage of Dolby Vision will be on the TV where we watch many of our shows and few movies.@StanfieldNC hit the nail on the head with this question.
This is where I think the real gap between Kaleidescape and others will be widened if so between the streaming platforms.
Yes you can buy most of these on disc like for like, but it would be a game changer for HBO shows etc.
Disney+ probably anticipated this, hence why we don’t see their Marvel and Star Wars series shows available (unless due to some other issue)…..
This is really the sort of question that the Strato V Readiness report is designed to answer. So i have about 220 titles. About 20% are older movies pre 1980. should I keep my Strato C in my group if I buy a Strato V?
Looks like it is now live as well. Enjoy! The update for the iOS version is still wending its way through Apple's approval process but will hopefully be available soon.
Wow, thanks. Read through the thread and missed this nugget. Taught me to fish! This is really the sort of question that the Strato V Readiness report is designed to answer.

I could send you my referral code if you're antsy.I just got my Strato V. I’m in the process of activating it and setting it up. I’m stuck on the activation screen because I want to put in my dealer partner’s referral code name but they’re not getting back to me and I’m so eager to get this thing going!
I knew someone would say that!I could send you my referral code if you're antsy.
