I have another cable to try. I’ll see if that makes any difference. Thanks for all your help. Very much appreciated

If possible, try a passive cable (like the one supplied with the Strato).I have another cable to try. I’ll see if that makes any difference. Thanks for all your help. Very much appreciated
The menu is 60Hz which could be the difference as it’s much higher bandwidth.I have another cable to try. I’ll see if that makes any difference. Thanks for all your help. Very much appreciated
Yeah I thought it was a bit weird. Definitely inputs. They also said that the 8k signal won’t play on HDM1 input 1 which I thought was strange since it’s all 2.1.Hm, that´s interesting. We have quite some Trinnov-installations out there in the field and I explicitely asked Trinnov this specific question and was told that they are identical. This was not coming from support, but right from the development team.
Are we sure that we are talking about inputs, not outputs as the outputs are indeed different.
Hi. Maybe this could help. Not familiar with Trinnov but if the unused hdmi output port could be disabled, you may like to try that. I am assuming you need only one hdmi output.I have 2 more data points. I plugged the Strato directly into the projector. No dropouts. I plugged it back into the Trinnov. I then sequentially dropped the refresh rate on the OSD menu. Still getting dropouts. It’s clear that the issue is the handshake between the Trinnov and the Strato. I’m getting a new cable to try from my dealer. After that, I’m out of ideas. For the record, this is a hobby for me. I’m getting tired of all this. Scape did reach out to me. We’ll see where that goes. If anywhere. At least the movies look great.
Following @by96's advice, I got the AVPro Edige Distribution Amp to split the HDMI output from my Strato K to my Lumagen and my Trinnov separately. Since then I have not had any audio drop out like before. I did have a few blank screens after stopping a movie under kOS 26.1.0, which required HDMI reset on the Lumagen (Alt - Prev keys). Since kOS 26.1.1 I haven't experienced any blank screens. Also for the record, I tried all 8 inputs. No difference with any of them
That´s interesting. I´d involve both K and Trinnov support with this. They both can look at internal logs and work from there.I have 2 more data points. I know, these kind of HDMI issues are very frustrating.

Only the Strato K. The AVPro Edge sends out two identical signals to the outputs. This distribution Amplifier does not degrade the picture or sound in any way. It's not going to have an effect and you cannot tell the difference if in the chain or not. My Disc players, as you may know, have 2 HDMI outputs, so there chain is normal. Video to the Lumagen then Projector and Audio to the Trinnov.I’ve been thinking along those lines. While I’d hate to introduce another element into the chain, that makes sense. How many sources do you have going into the splitter.
