I'll admit I'm part of the problem. I gave up my perfectly working Nvidia Shield which had DTX-X for an Apple TV 4KI'm talking about the hardware, not the service.
It is run by a group of enthusiastic Kaleidescape owners and dealers purely as a service to this community.

Disney has been trying to make DTS:X streaming a thing and I figured that’s the best chance of Apple getting on board. Still waiting…This is most likely because Apple refuses to add DTS licensing to the AppleTV more than anything.
I gave up ON my hassle-laden Nvidia Shield for Kaleidescape & AppleTV 4K. The Shield was literally the last straw that made me buy the Kaleidescape.I'll admit I'm part of the problem. I gave up my perfectly working Nvidia Shield which had DTX-X for an Apple TV 4K![]()
Interesting, thanks for sharing. Running out of shelf space for discs and the low cost of the Strato E is what drove my switch to K'. For streaming I have a Fire TV Cube that I got because my aging TV (LG OLED65C8) was struggling to stream properly. K' doesn't eliminate disc purchases for me but it will certainly help.I gave up ON my hassle-laden Nvidia Shield for Kaleidescape & AppleTV 4K. Long story short. We moved. The home theater was out of commission for about 8 months, but the PLEX server was fired up and running since it's also our OTA DR. Every other device was an AppleTV 4K. When the theater was finally ready to use, the Shield had missed several software updates. Once updated and connected, any PLEX content that contained a Dolby TrueHD soundtrack would freeze and lock up the whole device requiring a complete reset. Going back to factory settings and reinstalling everything didn't work. I've never looked back.
The Hangover (2009) HDR version update today again. Maybe it's finally watchable in HDR this time.
Changes in this update:
- Audio and video improvements

The Hangover

Starring Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, and Justin Bartha. Purchase and download today in 4K Dolby Vision.www.kaleidescape.com
Store claims this has Atmos for the HDR version, but this is not true. What’s the best way to let K know about this discrepancy?
Oops. You are correct. My mistake. Strange that the studio (?) won’t include the Atmos track on the HDR10 versionThat screenshot you're showing of the app says that it has Atmos on 4K SDR and 4K Dolby Vision, not on 4K HDR10.
Thank you, Mike. Hopefully you get the new transfer as well.My understanding is that it is in the works. The 4K SDR and 4K Dolby Vision versions were recently added and were built from updated assets. There should be an HDR10 update coming that will use the new audio as well.
Thank you!...and there it is. ;-)
I don’t believe the Parasite Atmos track is available on digital storefronts anywhere. It would be nice to have Transformers and Revenge of the Fallen upated though. Can they do the same for Transformers and Parasite?
