I think we have always had projectors with enough light output for 3D, or at least for the last 15-20 years. They just have been much more expensive or had other tradeoffs in terms of contrast, etc that made them less cost effective than non-3D projectors. It is hard to overcome the structural deficit of losing half of your light output without a compromise or a lot more money. It’s a shame really because now HDR has hit off we actually have TVs and projectors bright enough to really do 3D justice!
It will be a shame if/when they drop it because I still have 3D movies I watch and I prefer them to 4K because I find added depth adds a lot more than HDR and I really want an affordable projector with GTZ380 level lumens and JVC contrast so I can increase from 150” 16:9 to 190” 2.4:1 and do wall to wall screen with the same screen height. It would be sad to lose 3D in any upgrade even if gaining a bigger screen!
Short Circuit 2 is on the K Store:Looking through my movies for a movie to watch I noticed "Short Circuit" but not "Short circuit 2"
I concur. In a similar vein, I wish they had the Babylon 5 movies alongside the series.also still would love the firefly tv series, only 1 season but still they have Serenity.
I can’t find these on any other digital store, maybe they’re not being actively licensed digitally?I think I saw 2-3 Abbott and Costello movies, but would love to see "Time of their lives", "Hold that ghost" and "Meet captain Kid"
Thanks i must have missed Short Circuit 2, As for the rest I have them on DVD living in my Disc Vault. Hoping K changes their mind and comes out with a product to replace the old Disc vaults. I cant see Blu-Rays or DVD's changing in the future, just dyeing out for full online digital, and for the money spent on getting into the K system it really gets me mad that I am relying on three pieces of equipment to play my physical discs that are no longer supported by K. That is a rant for another thread.Short Circuit 2 is on the K Store:
Maybe it’s incompatible with the V?![]()

This disappeared from all digital stores. The assumption was it was acquired by a boutique label, but nothing has appeared yet. I own it on K as I had bought it before it was removed. Hopefully the next rights owner has a contract with K and will re-release it digitally.Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines is a giant hole in the middle of my Terminator collection
I hope this qualifies as a "Hole" but all the talk about the first 6 Bond movies being released in 4K and HDR would be a great addition to the Kaleidescape store. Since they are not available on any streaming site, it would be extra special to be available on the K store.

Yup, we're all hoping that MGM makes the new HDR/DV-graded masters available digitally, but they haven't yet. Sometimes MGM takes some time to update digital offerings and sometimes they simply keep some features (like HDR) as disc-only features. We'll likely see updates on another digital store before we see it on K, so keep an eye on Apple and/or Fandango at Home.I bought the full Bond collection in 4K on Kaleidescape. They are all 4K SDR with the exception of the Craig films I believe. I am also hoping we get the new 4k HDR upgrades for the Connery ones
Not currently in digital distribution. Hopefully this sees the light of day again. I hate it when movies are simply inaccessible.Would love to see Airheads added to store was looking to buy Blu-ray and it’s $299…

T3 has an interesting home video history. It was one of the early Blu-ray discs. There was a mastering error on the first batch. It was in 1080i. They re-released it in 1080p. Both releases had the lossy Dolby Digital 5.1 as the main soundtrack. The Kstore version was identical to the re-release Blu-ray (which was a direct port of the HD-DVD release).Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines is a giant hole in the middle of my Terminator collection
Wolfwalkers was licensed exclusively to Apple for streaming on the Apple TV+ service. The only way to get this film outside of this service is in the aforementioned Blu-ray boxed set. As a fellow fan and owner of this disc set, I’d love to see it made available for digital sale. Unfortunately, particularly in the US, Cartoon Saloon’s products are tied up in a variety of exclusive contracts (Netflix owning others).I would love to see the 2020 animated movie Wolfwalkers added to the Kaleidescape Movie Store. I'm not sure why other Cartoon Saloon movies are part of the store and this one is not.

Cartoon Saloon's Irish Folklore Trilogy Blu-ray (The Secret of Kells / Song of the Sea / Wolfwalkers)
No, unfortunately not. K has the full series with the latest HD masters, which is great. Then, they have The Road Home in HD because K no longer gets Warner animation in 4K. The only TV Movie they have is The Lost Tales and only in SD (available digitally in HD elsewhere).I can't find Babylon 5: The Gathering on the store.
Does it have it?
It's the pilot movie episode for B5.
