US Digital Releases for July & August 2026

Ah, yes I scanned my old DVD copy. I see it gives $4.92 to upgrade to HD and $8.59 for 4K. Still not a bad price. Will purchase and wait until my Strato K arrives to download the Cinematic version.

I'm getting $8.59 D2D price.
Did you scan a DVD by any chance?

It's possible I got an upgrade price as I had previously purchased it. However, that prior purchase was a D2D at $3.14 (standard HD D2D) and the 4K D2D price ($4.92) is usually cheaper than an upgrade (commonly $9.95).

Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (2008) in C_DV/C_HDR/C_SDR/DV/HDR/SDR with Dolby TrueHD Atmos from NBCUniversal

The Kid (2019) in SDR with DTS-HD Master 5.1 from Lionsgate

Untamed (Season 1) (2025) in SDR/HD from Warner Bros

Returned (and $5 cheaper)
I'll See You in My Dreams (2015) in HD/SD with DTS-HD Master 5.1from Bleecker Street

Ordinary Love (2020) in HD/SD with DTS-HD Master 5.1 from Bleecker Street

The Art of Self-Defense (2019) in HDR/HD/SD with DTS-HD Master 5.1 from Bleecker Street

The Roads Not Taken (2020) in HD with DTS-HD Master 5.1 from Bleecker Street

What They Had (2018) in HD/SD with DTS-HD Master 5.1 from Bleecker Street

Thanks, saw the announcement this morning. Aggressive for Warner, especially after spouting off about their "45 Day Release Window" for the last year. Added.
Yes, but box office returns determines everything. Warner is also most aggressive when it comes to K pricing at $39.99. I'm expecting it stay at that premium price point for awhile. That will help them recoup. I just hope it's a really solid AV transfer!

Given the magnitude of its flop at the box office...I am surprised it did not goto video sooner LOL.

I usually ignore internet trolls that berate a movie...as well as ignore how good or bad a movie does at box office...if its one I am interested in...I watch it and judge myself......but this time I might just wait for cheap rental option on streaming as I literally could not find a remotely positive review from sources I usually agree with for this movie.

The comic book this was supposedly based on was one of the favorites.

My wife and I were tempted to see this at an IMAX theater about 45-minutes from our house the first Tuesday after it hit theaters. Not a single seat appeared as sold for two showtimes. Standard screenings had less than 10 combined.
Might have to wait for this one on HBO MAX before it drops to $10 on K.

That’s a heck of a system for deciding whether to see a movie or not … and skipping The Odyssey in IMAX to see it on HBO MAX?? To each their own.

Whoa - I was talking about Supergirl! Wasn’t sure if it was worth going to the theater to see in the first place. The HBO MAX reference was about Warner’s pricing. I’ve paid the $39 for new releases on K for some movies. Others usually drop to their lowest price once they hit streaming.

The Odyssey in IMAX is a done deal, and will happily place my preorder on K as soon as it shows up.

Oh, okay. Sorry then. My mistake.

Saw the Odyssey at our Regal Marq'E IMAX in Houston, TX. It was worth every cent. People were clapping in the audience when the film ended. I rate it a 8.85/10.
I didn't feel like driving to San Antonio or Dallas just to watch it in 70mm.

I'm immediately hitting pre-order when it's available on the Kscape store.
