Thanks, saw the announcement this morning. Aggressive for Warner, especially after spouting off about their "45 Day Release Window" for the last year. Added.Supergirl coming out next Tuesday. July 28
Yes, but box office returns determines everything. Warner is also most aggressive when it comes to K pricing at $39.99. I'm expecting it stay at that premium price point for awhile. That will help them recoup. I just hope it's a really solid AV transfer! Thanks, saw the announcement this morning. Given the magnitude of its flop at the box office...I am surprised it did not goto video sooner LOL.Thanks, saw the announcement this morning. Aggressive for Warner, especially after spouting off about their "45 Day Release Window" for the last year. Added.
I usually ignore internet trolls that berate a movie...as well as ignore how good or bad a movie does at box office...if its one I am interested in...I watch it and judge myself......but this time I might just wait for cheap rental option on streaming as I literally could not find a remotely positive review from sources I usually agree with for this movie.
That’s a heck of a system for deciding whether to see a movie or not … and skipping The Odyssey in IMAX to see it on HBO MAX?? To each their own.My wife and I were tempted to see this at an IMAX theater about 45-minutes from our house the first Tuesday after it hit theaters. Not a single seat appeared as sold for two showtimes. Standard screenings had less than 10 combined.
Might have to wait for this one on HBO MAX before it drops to $10 on K.
Whoa - I was talking about Supergirl! Wasn’t sure if it was worth going to the theater to see in the first place. The HBO MAX reference was about Warner’s pricing. I’ve paid the $39 for new releases on K for some movies. Others usually drop to their lowest price once they hit streaming. That’s a heck of a system for deciding whether to see a movie or not … and skipping The Odyssey in IMAX to see it on HBO MAX?? Good save.Whoa - I was talking about Supergirl!
The Odyssey in IMAX is a done deal, and will happily place my preorder on K as soon as it shows up.

Saw the Odyssey at our Regal Marq'E IMAX in Houston, TX. It was worth every cent. People were clapping in the audience when the film ended. I rate it a 8.85/10.Whoa - I was talking about Supergirl!
