Any experience with the 1X 4 version of the AV Pro Edge pieces. the 1X 2?I agree - adding such a device into the chain can improve stability of the chain as it refreshes and amplifies the signal.
Thank you very much

AVPro Edge ist good stuff in general.Any experience with the 1X 4 version of the AV Pro Edge pieces. the 1X 2?
If it´s just the K you´re having issues with, you can also try such a device to refresh the signal:It helps very much. I have no Lumagen so I’d have to figure out the distribution. Or wait for Trinnov to come up with an answer
I have had both the 1x4 and 1x2 in my system, including the current 48Gbps models and the prior 40Gbps ones (which can sometimes be found on eBay for cheaper). In fact, I just added an AVPro 8K 4x4 matrix in order to simplify things. AVPro Edge stuff is excellent. By bypassing my Lumagen with the audio signal, which now goes straight to my Arcam, I have no audio dropouts. There are still some short-lived handshake issues, but I have come to accept that those are present with anything HDMI. The AVPro Edge also has easy to use EDID, so you can use them if you have specific problems. They are much simpler than HDFury products, but do seem to amplify the signal quite well.Any experience with the 1X 4 version of the AV Pro Edge pieces. the 1X 2?

246tb Compact SSD just announced!? Sheesh. I may even download the special features if I had that![]()
It turns out, according to Trinnov, that the video board that they installed is limited to 40 Gbps. That may or may not explain the problem. I explained to both the Trinnov and Kaleidescape tech support people is that the issue is with the video wall OSD, not the actual movies. Those look great and I don't want to compromise that. I'm waiting to hear if there is a way to downgrade the video wall OSD that doesn't compromise the cinematic presentation versions, which was the whole point of upgrading to the Strato K in the first place. I tried sequentially reducing the Video OSD frequency refresh rate, but that didn't help.If it´s just the K you´re having issues with, you can also try such a device to refresh the signal:

Has definitely "disappeared". Strange one.Is it me or has Mission: Impossible 8 disappeared from the UK Film Store. Interestingly I was able to delete it from my Terra Server and re-download it in 4K Cinematic.
My felling of the Strato K is that it is more of a doorway rather than a window.
Perhaps it'll do an Anora, which came, went and came.Has definitely "disappeared". Strange one.
The popup that appears if you rest on a movie for a half second. What were you wanting to modify?
Get the remote for it, it’s cheap. Maybe I’m one of the few, I hate using my phone as a remoteThe popup that appears if you rest on a movie for a half second.
No way to see how far you are into a movie (e.g. when you pause)
No (easy?) way to jump through (or to) chapters
Having to use my phone and swipe swipe swipe
At first I couldn't believe that subtitles were displaying below my scope screen, but eventually I found the settings page (which wasn't intuitive) and remedied this.
I didn't know there was a remote.Get the remote for it, it’s cheap. Maybe I’m one of the few, I hate using my phone as a remote
Same. Don't want to unlock my phone every time I want to control the player during a movie. I got the remote and like it. Small, just the few buttons it needs, wish it was dimly backlit, but that's a small gripe.Get the remote for it, it’s cheap. Maybe I’m one of the few, I hate using my phone as a remote
