Star Wars 1977 - Original Theatrical Release

Actually this brings up an uncommon scenario on the store that goes against the "We'll always show you the lowest price available" promise when it comes to content sets and sales and completing your set. CC @MikeKobb

So I have all the Star Wars titles except for the 3 prequel films.

If I go to the Skywalker Trilogy Content Set, it shows that I can complete my set by buying the 3 prequels at $9.99 each, totaling $29.97, reflecting the sale price of those three titles.

HOWEVER, there is also another content set for The Prequel Trilogy that is also on sale for $24.99, meaning there IS a lower price available than the other content set.
I noticed that. Also, sometimes "sales" and content sets do not matchup when there is disc to digital involved. I make sure to double check every option to make sure I am getting the lowest price available... I have found its not always what the store "defaults" too. Rare but it has happened.

I know that my question is a bit off topic, but the Star Wars movie collection is on sale today (May the 4th be with you!). Are the original trilogy movies worth picking up? How is the audio and video? The movies are 45+ years old, so I am not expecting too much!

The prequels were terrible for me but a couple of the sequels were okay to watch. So is the whole collection worth buying? Around $7.50 a movie.

Thanks all.

MadScientist
I purchased the original trilogy and Rogue One. Those are the only movies from the series I care to watch again.

I’m a SW nut, so I have all the titles (including the prequels) plus Solo and Rogue one. These were some of my initial purchases on the K store. Sales are the way to go.

Besides this I have the 4k Blu-ray Steels for:

- The Mandalorian (seasons 1-3)
- Andor (Season-1 / Rogue one origins)
- Obi-Wan Kenobe (Complete series)
- Ahsoka (Season-1)

Hoping they release the Acolyte on disc as I really enjoyed that presentation. A physical / digital release for The book of Boba Fett and Bad batch would be nice.
