No, locked at scope ratio. You need bravia core Sony app to view imax 1.9 ratio.Does the movie have shifting aspect ratios on K?
Good to know. Thanks. No, locked at scope ratio. You need bravia core Sony app to view imax 1.9 ratio.
From some research, I think it's only accessible from a compatible Sony TV. And not from the ps5 unfortunately.Good to know. Thanks.
I have a PS5 but I’ve never tried any content from the Core App.
It’s definitely available on the PS5. I have the app on there. I’ve just never used it.From some research, I think it's only accessible from a compatible Sony TV. And not from the ps5 unfortunately.
Unfortunately, the Sony Pictures Core app on the PS5 doesn't support the high-bitrate "Pure Stream" that Bravia TV's support. So, PS owners basically get a Sony-focused digital store with standard streaming quality. Given Sony's history with digital movie rights on their consoles, I can't recommend the service. It’s definitely available on the PS5. I have the app on there. I’ve just never used it.
It was notable when they made the app available since it was locked behind Sony Bravia TVs.
AH, thank you. I didn't know there was a quality difference. (Now I have even less reason to try it, haha)Unfortunately, the Sony Pictures Core app on the PS5 doesn't support the high-bitrate "Pure Stream" that Bravia TV's support. Shane Lee had pinned an update on his Spiderman review stating TV only, and he's pretty reliable. In this instance, I wish he and LoveCinema were wrong. But I trust they verify before posting.AH, thank you. I didn't know there was a quality difference. (Now I have even less reason to try it, haha)
I purchased it day one on my Strato K via 4KC Dolby Vision, gave it a quick look and thought it looked really good on my LG G6 97 inch OLED. Didn’t notice any issues with video and the audio sounded great. Although I didn’t watch it from start to finish I plan to watch it in full this weekend and will report back with any issue I findIncredible picture quality and a fun atmos mix with strong bass at times. Slightly crushed blacks to my eyes on Bravia9mk2 and A95L but maybe it’s just me.
