When do you folks think Project Hail Mary will show up to buy on Kaleidescape?
Sci Fi and Dystopian Movies are my favorite Genre.
My most anticipated movie for 2026 after Dune 3.
This will be a good place to review at also if you watch it in theaters or when it arrives at Kaleidescape.

That all depends on the box office. MGM has US rights. They just dropped Mercy a scant 25 days after theatrical release, but I believe that title was originally made for streaming so expected to have a shorter theatrical run. I'm sure Amazon is hoping for a blockbuster with Project Hail Mary so that means we're at 60+ days from theater to digital barring unexpected returns.
 
I saw it on Monday, it was entertaining but I didn't think it was a blockbuster (it certainly wasn't an Interstellar, The Martian, or Dune). The cinematography was excellent. I didn't think that it did the book justice (I am curious to see if there is an extended "uncut" version that shows more and tells more of the story on earth).
 
I agree. We went to the IMAX yesterday as a family and watched the show. It was really enjoyable. We all read the book and loved it, so were very pleased to see them make the show stay true to the book for the most part. I was very worried when Ryan Gosling was selected for the role of Ryland Grace but he did a great job in the film.

Hope so...this is one the wife is REALLY looking forward to.
 
Recently saw something about MGM extending the theater release window of PHM. :(

Wife is disappointed but luckily not enough to step foot in a commercial theater for first time in 10some years :)
 
LOL so today apparantly PHM popped up on Fandango as available....people hit buy only to find out it was premature...having to get refunds.

My guess is that the original VOD release...at least on Fandango was for April 28th....but due to the extension in theaters it got pushed.
