New Strato E owner - reactions & questions

All of this is handled much better via the webstore or app, but I'll defer to others that use the on-device store more often. I've had a K for years and I think I've launched that store twice. I think the forum had this as a poll at one point and it was mostly split app and web.
Thanks for the response. I probably should have worded my question differently. I didn't necessarily mean using the device interface. I actually tried looking on the website and app. I'd be open to using wherever this can be done, if possible.

When you buy on the webstore you are giving options for downloading. You can choose to download automatically or change it to custom. If you pick custom, you get to pick which items do and don't download and what resolution/quality. Once you purchase, you'll get a notification at the bottom the screen with a button that will take you to the Downloads page (Manage > Downloads). There you can use the arrows to rearrange the order of the downloads, pause all downloads, etc.

When you purchase on the mobile app you get a screen with which version to download (DV, HDR, SDR, etc). You just uncheck the selected option and it won’t even start to download.
 
What I would do in your case is make your purchase, then go to the Downloads view (Mange -> Downloads on the web, More -> Downloads in the mobile app), then just drag the one you want to watch first to the top.
