if you have the same product, can you answer my question above? That’s the one I’m using also. Works fine as tested yesterday and as posted above it works through the USB switch also.

Sorry. I didn’t see your post. It’s pretty clear which is which. The cable splits to two USB-A connectors and one has a thicker cable than the other. The thicker one is the usb 3.0 end meant for data transfer and the thinner one is usb 2.0 meant for power.if you have the same product, can you answer my question above?

However, today, in the interest of simplifying my connections, I tried using just using the USB C cable and worked fine. So the drive is connected to a USB switch with usb-C, and then I output to both the Strato and my computer from the switch. The switch also has an option for a power connection, if necessary, but I’m not using that either. So, I think you’d be fine either way, but it’s worth noting the included cables are super short.
I was happy to hear about this, then i realized that this is only for bluray disc, which most of my collection are 4ks. Sigghhh
Thanks is that the usual upgrade pricing? Most 4k UHD's come with blu-rays, so still worth it to use those discs and pay the $4.92 to upgrade a huge chunk of them to a 4K format.
Ciao Forza! My strato doesn’t go into disc recognition mode anymore. I cataloged over 1,500 discs since July and I tried two different drives. These aren’t the approved drives by Kscape tho. Any recommendations? I tried restarting my strato a few times.
Hi. I thought then external drive needed to have a power source outside of the strato.. is that not true?Ciao Forza!
, Might not help ur use case, but with my new Strato C and Terra Prime, I used these:
Only issue is that with the few new 4K ultra discs also purchased from Amazon, including No Time To Die, the UPC codes don't populate. I haven't tried other discs yet-too busy watching movies and trying different settings/options, for the above with my Trinnov Alt 32.
Mille Grazie!

Which pioneer 4K drive do you have?Have tried cataloging 4k disc as I have a pioneer 4K drive, when I catalogue them they are recognized as a bluray.
Pretty sweet. I'll have to keep that one in mind.I bought drive drive.
then bought power adapter directly from pioneer website also
This combo also catalogues several 4K discs that I tried. No failures.Ciao Forza!

I read some were able to catalog 4K UHD discs as Blu-ray discs and get D2D discount.4K UHD discs work for cataloging?!
Yes, they register as regular Blu-rays, although you have to enter the barcodes for them manually.I read some were able to catalog 4K UHD discs as Blu-ray discs and get D2D discount.
