Most if not all were going back to original pricing at the conclusion of the sale. The good news is that sale termination dates are listed in the store in both the on-sale grouping and with individual titles. This is a big improvement over the last year. For the long list of recent price increases, are those the end of a sale, or indeed just random price increases?
This was a feature I was really looking forward to - respond to a notification about a new release on my phone and have it ready to play in just over an hour, now down to about ten minutes. Our viewing habits have led us to a different experience where a new title is likely to be on sale before we watch it. Still a great feature, though. There will always be a savings in waiting as pretty much everything new seems to be on sale within a few months of release. It's just a matter of how bad do you want to see the movie and if you're prepared to pay up front for the pleasure or not. It's a catch-22 because one of the platform virtues is the early releases, but that also means you're paying the most for that content.
We finally have the $7.99 bin. Let's see when we will get the $4.99 bin. I think we are almost catching up with average disc prices. We just need more catalog titles added to the store then there won't be any reason to keep a disc player in our setups.
Hell yea, now we just need an Alien set to go along with the predator set.
