Movies on Sale...

Was definitely hoping for a more aggressive sale pricing for Black Friday as opposed to standard sale pricing with just more titles that would have been on sale at some point regardless. Hell, if you look at what Amazon has been doing with disc pricing so far you could buy most of the newer stuff on disc and then do D2D and still come out the same or better than K's sale pricing. Other digital retailers are discounting WAY heavier, even with the normal offset between them and K.

Hopefully, they will launch a more aggressive sale in a day or two. The majority of titles through the D2D route are turning out to have much better pricing than the current Black Friday sale. A heavier sale would be a big win for K, as more titles would drive higher hardware or storage purchases, which, in turn, would mean more Prime Terra sales.

D2D will ALWAYS beat ANY sale K has with the exception of Disney/Fox/MGM pricing. For Universal, Warner, Sony, Paramount and Lionsgate the D2D will always be the way to go if you can do it. Sale prices won't even be close. Fox used to be way better for D2D until Disney got them, now their pricing is as retarded as MGM for the most part.

As one relatively new to the Kscape universe, the bundles seem to offer the best discount so far. Just picked up the Mission Impossible first 6 for $30. That and D2D have how I've built up most of my library so far.

Was also hoping for more. Hopefully they roll out more titles as the week goes by, but doesn't seem like nearly as many $9.98 titles like in years past.

I have been very pleased with the Black Friday sale so far. I picked up Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, A Quiet Place Day 1, and a half dozen others. These were half the price of what is currently available on disc elsewhere on Black Friday sales. Being able to upgrade North by Northwest and The Departed for $5 was great to!

Oh, one suggestion for next year. It would be very handy to sort Black Friday deals by when they were first offered for sale. This prevents someone from having to look through the same hundreds of titles each day to find any new ones. Unless the Black Friday selection is listed all at one time and not spreadout through the week. If that is the case, then please disregard this suggestion.

Thank you.

Being able to sort by most recently on sale would be really nice.

I'll never again visit a brick and mortar for the black friday shitshow... the wife nearly got me killed trying to save 6 bucks on a crockpot 8 years ago at SkankMart and I'm out.
Man! I remember the craziness that used to occur at Circuit City.

Everyone itching for the new flat panels or the Nintendo GameCube.

Dude I loved our Circuit City and remember those lines wrapped around the building, assholes camped out in tents, local news crew there providing round the clock coverage to see if anyone was killed fighting over saving 10 bucks on something they could have bought 2 days before for the less savings than it cost for their gas!

Re: D2D, physical discs, etc.

It is my understanding that you must own, and maintain ownership, of the disc for D2D, etc. This makes intuitive sense given copyright.
