Last movie watched

Watched Mando and Grogu for the first time last night. Visually (admitted on my limited projector) was stunning. Great visuals, moving between aspect ratios was great. The score was fantastic. I will say this, the sound effects group seems to be lacking at Disney. There were times were I was expecting something, crashing into a table, or something dropped to the ground, and the sound fx was lacking. Nothing to do with K but Disney just felt lazy.
Just purchased this one today, so looking forward to watching later this week.

I really loved this one. One of my favorite Stars Wars movies. The audio, video and storyline were all excellent. I even liked the music on this one.

Watched Made tonight. Had a tough time debating between the cinematic version and the Lionsgate Limited 4k disc (with the atmos track). Finally decided to roll with the disc and I’m so glad that I did so. The atmos mix is fantastic with outstanding ambience, surround activity and seamless pans. Was really pleasantly surprised with how well the front wides were utilized throughout the presentation.

Hopefully K could incorporate this mix down the road.

Vince Vaughn is terrific. This is undoubtedly my favorite Vince Vaughn performance. Had great fun re-visiting this timeless comedy. Highly recommended.

Watched Batman Begins 4KC HDR 10 this morning. Looked great to my eyes with deep blacks and plenty of detail on show.
I watched Dark Knight Returns the other day. Obviously not KC but I'm waiting on a new projector to upgrade my files to HDR to see if there is a difference. I won't be going down the Strato K route for a long time. Not much benefit for these files, I don't think, to be had by projector users.

I’ve not seen the 4K disc version in ages plus I now have a JVC NZ9 and Lumagen 5348 in the chain so couldn’t say if KC was better than the 4K disc or not. It did look very good though 🙂
