Really enjoyed this movie. Hope they keep this going in the future. The audio was awesome. Really surprised with the generous amount of LFE present on this track; uncharted territory for Disney. The mouse was definitely punching above its weight. Lol

I will definitely buy it at a more palatable price point. I’m an unapologetic DC fan and I feel this movie will look gorgeous from the HT standpoint. Negative reviews make me more curious about watching this. Those populist/ click bait narratives don’t resonate with me. Lol.

Well… i have seen it…

Movie is good(ish) if you forget about the acting level.
Casting is horrible
Acting is horrible
But still it is entertainment and to be honest i had a good time.
Picture quality was fantastic and so was the audio quality, superb

I also did see the dead of robin hood and did not liked it one bit.
Not as i expected at all and not even close to what the trailer make you think.
Also terrible grainy and i mean way over the top grainy.
Audio was great though.

I know that many forum members don't like watching TV series on Kaleidescape but here are two must-watch series, both related to the CIA.

1. Based on the acclaimed French Series, The Bureau, The Agency - Season 1 (2024) is a bit of a character-driven slow burn, but a fantastic expose of deep-cover tradecraft. Unfortunately, Season 2 is not yet available on K but you can watch it on Paramount, and it's more action-driven. Michael Fassbender is terrific as usual. Season 1 is available on K in HD only.

2. Lioness, whose third season just debuted on Paramount, is also compelling, must-watch TV. The first two seasons are available on K in SDR. They're less cerebral than The Agency with more octane.

I found the latest Superman very disappointing and a had high hopes from the reviews, for me it was a misstep compared to Man of Steel and the #supershit stuff was painful.

I’ve just got through watching the original Star Wars Trilogy, instant improvement in picture quality over the prequels and the puppetry has aged so much better than low quality CGI. The CGI additions are noticeably out of place, particularly in 4K. I’m surprised they don’t go back through all of them and re-render it to make it more seamless.

Watched Captain America Civil war in Cinematic HDR 10 4:4:4 version. Really looked good and forgot how good this movie is, classic Marvel. Watched the Winter soldier few days previously and that looked really good in the new format.

Project Hail Mary - started off a little slow but really enjoyed it.

I finally got around to watching Project Hail Mary. Similar to you, it started off a little slow, but I really enjoyed it as well. I think there could be a fun thought experiment on whether there could have been a better casting for the lead. I say that as a fan of Gostling, but I don't think of a smart guy/loner when I see him.

Watched The Invite last night. Went in basically blind and came out of it really enjoying it. Great cast and some really funny moments balanced with some solid drama. I wouldn't put this in the date night category due to the subject matter, but a great watch if you need something with no explosions. Highly recommend going in with as little knowledge as possible about the film.

Checked out Tuner yesterday. Pretty entertaining right up until the end and then it just kinda fell apart for me. Would still recommend though, especially if you are Leo Woodall fan. Audio and video were great and since this didn't get a 4K physical release is an easy recommend over the BD (which I also have).

This is a fantastic upgrade over the previous 1080 examples. It appears that it was shot recently. I would put this up against any contemporary release. Amazing uptick in details and even the ugly cgi was not so jarring. The inclusion of atmos is most welcome, as it really opens the soundstage when needed. There is some nice bass extension as well.

Overall an enjoyable experience on C_DV. Glad i decided to revisit this unforgettable comedy/ satire…AcK Ack..lol.
