Kaleidescape today announced the launch of a new product line called Encore

From K's Facebook page:

"CES 2016 was a huge success demonstrating pristine playback of both 4K UHD and HDR content side by side. More content studios coming onboard as we count down to the Strato release. Get ready!"

We got K2, Orchard and Moving Art, right? There is no guarantee that the studios coming are the last 2 majors we are missing.

I would like to see some disc to digital options for the TV series. I don't understand why they offer it on so many movies but none of the TV series offer it.

Although the CES related post was from a few days back. And I think the studios u referenced were added earlier than that. So keeping my fingers crossed it's one or both of the remaining studios. This is my glass half full side talking :D

What I'd like to see is The Criterion Collection coming onboard for Disc to Digital or purchase through the store. My Disc Vaults are filled almost entirely with Criterion Blu-Rays, and I'd really like to get some of those slots freed up!

Good luck on getting Criterion. They typically have a limited window of their marketing license (explaining why so many titles are out of print), which would make it difficult for them to sell a disc to digital upgrade.

Even a digital purchase of the original content would be great. Their digital offerings on iTunes and the like are typically missing all the non-movie content, which significantly diminishes their value.

All signs point to Fox & Paramount.

I would expect FOX next, we'll se soon.
