Evil Dead Burn no 4KC... what is the decision making process?

It's not accurate to characterize this as "only the biggest blockbusters" by any means. For example, the three titles that Broncowrangler cited just above all perform well enough to have 4K Cinematic versions.

Anyway, I'm not sure continuing this discussion is productive at this point. We've certainly heard all of the feedback, and I'm sure that things will evolve over time. Right now, what I've described above is the policy for the immediate future.

Basically what Mike is saying here is that KScape has no control over the human race’s predominant bad taste in films lol.

I remember many many moons ago I was working for a hedge fund and my co-worker comes into work pumped up like he just got out of the gym. He comes up to me and says……BROOOO you wouldn’t believe the film I saw over the weekend. It was the best film I’ve seen in a long time!!

He was so excited you see that I was getting excited! So I asked him immediately…..what was the movie man?!?!? He looks me straight in the eyes and says “Battleship”!

End of story
