Can these things be upgraded at a later time by adding more storage?

This is a key issue for me as well. Is this a drop down in the web app or from the box running the software? I’m trying to assess how smooth the operation would be for my family summer film festival, which is often 50/50 between K and Plex. There’s a drop down option to select the playback plugin. Only one option can be selected at a time.

So seem to be some conflicting answers to the question if when using a standalone Strato V...only the posters for the ~10 movies on the device itself are used or if it also has access to the entire customer library?Hello all, and thanks for the questions. I'll be happy to answer any.
The DMB Pro is a great piece of software for your digital movie posters. The Kaleidescape, R_volution, and Plex integration is very solid because we work directly with them and have access to their system API. We do have occasional hiccups (as is the case with software in general). For instance when Kaleidescape updates or makes any changes to their player's firmware it can break communication with our software. We can easily provide a quick fix for this usually under a week at most.
On August 15 we will be launching the all new DMB Pro+ software. This is a free upgrade to all DMB Pro owners, and will be the top dog moving forward. The Pro+ is all new software that has many new features that the previous Pro did not have. Everything now is in 4K, the banners are now 4K videos instead of gifs, and we have a new DMB-TV streaming service that also is full 4K. A new Art Display View will allow users to stream Sedition / Muse artwork to your movie board when not used as a movie poster display. This is thru a new partnership with Sedition / Muse. And just like the previous DMB Pro we will have full integration for Kaleidescape, R_volution, Plex, Zidoo, Zapitti, and more for advanced views like Now Playing, Summary view, and Live view. More info can be found on our website.
Feel free to reach out to us directly or thru this thread and I will help any way I can.
Thanks
JD
