I´m looking at my screen.
You're a really funny guy.
I´m looking at my screen in my cinema room, playing JW1 on my Strato C and from UHD and this is what I see. Just saying that both look terrible.

I learned what you can see on these photos is irrelevant so let´s leave it there. Is the top one K? Looks like DNR to me, although a photo from the phone isn't as good as those direct grabs.
I'll take that as a yes.I learned what you can see on these photos is irrelevant so let´s leave it there.
I´m not denying @Rmarci´s findings, just saying on a screen moving in real life, both look very similar and both terrible. No need to go into defense mode with every comment coming in.I'll take that as a yes.
Isn't it more defensive not to tell people which image is K and which is BD, once people point out that you can see DNR in one of the images?I´m not denying @Rmarci´s findings, just saying on a screen moving in real life, both look very similar and both terrible. Unless you’re using a DSLR on a tripod with all settings fully locked and you can capture the exact same frame from both sources then yes, phone photos are 100% irrelevant.I learned what you can see on these photos is irrelevant so let´s leave it there.
Well, I didn´t find it too interesting which one is which as my point was more to show how bad both are looking. But yes, if it makes you happy, the first one is K. But as I said it looks very similar and it´s a movie, the next second might look exactly the other way round.Isn't it more defensive not to tell people which image is K and which is BD, once people point out that you can see DNR in one of the images?
As long as the photos represent good enough what I´m seeing on my screen, it´s fine for me. That it´s not good enough to do a scientific comparison, that should be clear.Unless you’re using a DSLR on a tripod with all settings fully locked and you can capture the exact same frame from both sources then yes, phone photos are 100% irrelevant.

Well, you just said my photos are irrelevant, now you´re trying to prove your point using them. That´s a bit contradictory.Well, you said you didn’t see a difference, yet your non-scientific image shows obvious DNR… that’s a bit contradictory.
What ? Do you have reading issues?Well, you just said my photos are irrelevant, now you´re trying to prove your point using them. That´s a bit contradictory.
