I apologize, intent was not suggesting you said that... I was actually trying to point out how messed the people behind Supergirl are if what they said they were trying to do is true given what was delivered on screen.

I will delete...again apologize for the confusion.
 
I would make a statement on role models and whatnot: Supergirl's cameo at the end of Superman could have easily been any young person having a good time. In the movie, it's made clear that she's just a foul-mouthed messy drunk that just doesn't care. The drinking, violence, and constant profanity (including F-bombs) prevent me from showing the movie to my younger kids. Lobo swears more in this movie than in his comics. Why? I thought Superman pushed things a bit with profanity and the flying green middle fingers at the end (no to mention the Russian Roulette scene) but still took my kids to see it. For DC to take a "not for kids" approach to things in their second film makes me wonder what the point is? I thought this was bright/colorful/fun DC? Anyway, tired of sounding like an old prude. Get off my lawn...

I highly recommend reading the Woman of Tomorrow comic. Will give you idea of what this movie should have been.....err make you hate the movie even more lol.

Just typical James Gunn childish stuff. Its in all his movies....gotta have cuss words all the time...a few

jokes here and there....nothing new really from him.
 
Speaking exclusively from my perspective here; majority of movies I watch (especially the outlandish ones) is for the entertainment quotient and HT showcase purposes. If I want to critically analyze a masterpiece, I would prefer to watch Casablanca, The lady vanishes or Citizen Kane.

I notice folks these days get too deep Into deciphering clandestine covert/overt agendas. Grab a drink enjoy the fooking experience. Lol.

With that being said, just consume them the way you want, just throwing another POV out there.

That’s exactly the point I chose not to watch this movie or pay for this movie as I’m voting with my dollar because this type of stuff is what I do not want to watch for entertainment.

I dont mind silly popcorn flicks...hell one of our favorite movies to watch is Moonfall.

But as a comic book fan...what the new DCEU has done is really annoying.
