Will we get The Vampire Lestat? Was looking forward to watching, but waiting for K to make the season available. We got season 1 & 2 of Interview.

Coin toss to unlikely? K never added the second season of Mayfair Witches and hasn’t received The Talamasca, so signs don’t look good from an “Anne Rice Universe” perspective. Having said that, we rarely see signs of such strategy/consideration from K on content selection so it could just be what they pick on a random week. “Season Pass” was supported on this title so the digital release was technically back in June.

Guess I will be waiting longer for this. I can handle watching stuff on Itunes...but man Amazon ..in my system majority of the time looks and sounds bad. I think Apple purposely handicaps Prime on the Apple TV 4k I have tested and on the Apple TV amazon has the lowest bitrate of all the apps...by good bit.

Although rumored for digital release this week, it appears Amazon is keeping it as an exclusive for the time being. That's unfortunate. The movie wasn't successful enough to drive streaming subscriptions, so we're really just talking about additional traffic. I assume they ran projected numbers on digital sales and didn't see the value in a simultaneous release? That doesn't bode well for our neck of the woods...

I still question the wisdom of studios in limiting release....my assumption is that amongst all the mediums to distribute movies......VOD has to be pretty much as close to instant pure profit for the studios than any other. I movie like Master of the Universe is not gonna bring in much in terms of new prime subs.
