US BR & 4K Releases for March & April 2026

I've not found anyone else with it in 4K yet, and it's not even had it's theatrical run yet, which starts on the 22nd. My searches say May 12 for home digital, according to 20th Century's instagram.

I picked it up. $4.99 is a no brainer, albeit streaming. I watched bits and pieces, It’s a really clean transfer, with a fine layer of film grain. Like any newer release, the HDR/DV pops. Can’t wait for the disc, I already pre-ordered the steel via Amazon.

Hopefully this makes it way to K soon.
 
So what’s going on with Undertone? It supposedly came out yesterday, it’s no longer listed as a pre-order, but when I download it, it’s stuck at “awaiting playback authorization” on my system, and the charge for my pre-order hasn’t actually gone though yet.

It’s available, I actually just watched it a bit ago. For some reason the pre-order was never automatically processed on the release date, so what I ended up doing was canceling my pre-order, and then purchasing it regularly right after I canceled the pre-order. It downloaded and played just fine that way.

Interesting new behavior here... I previously owned this movie and was presented with a Movie Update that listed improved audio/video. Knowing this was one of the very few Strato HD Compatibility titles I have left, I updated. But, it's not compatible! So, K "got it back" and made a new encode, but not one that's compatible with the new players? It's not July 2024 anymore, the idea that they're making "new" incompatible encodes in April 2026 is, um, alarming? Very, very weird.
