Has the update to fix the UI resolution been completed? I am about to by the V next month.

Updates for the player itself are rolling out now and some back-end updates that should also help are coming soon. However, it should be noted that none of this is a "fix". The Strato V has a UI of 1080p. That's not a bug. It is a limitation of the hardware and will never be "fixed". The updates taking place are refinements to rendering/upscaling which should make the 1080p UI look a bit better.Has the update to fix the UI resolution been completed? If the UI resolution is a "decision level" factor for you, I'd highly recommend considering a Strato C. Not only has the retail price of that unit dropped, but there are some fantastic used deals to be had.
The UI still looks pretty good. I have a 120" screen and it definitely doesn't look pixelated or blurry by any stretch. The C could still be a good option if you really want a 4k resolution UI display. You just wouldn't get the Dolby Vision with the C.Has the update to fix the UI resolution been completed? Thanks. Not a deal breaker for me...just a little surprising...Updates for the player itself are rolling out now and some back-end updates that should also help are coming soon. Seems like a no brainer to go with the V.The UI still looks pretty good. I have a 120" screen and it definitely doesn't look pixelated or blurry by any stretch. The C could still be a good option if you really want a 4k resolution UI display. You just wouldn't get the Dolby Vision with the C.
I had a C and now updated to the V. If some members didn’t mention the UI resolution as a “problem” I would not have noticed. We are not talking about the movies—just the user interface resolution. I still don’t notice the difference. StillSeems like a no brainer to go with the V.
Essentially the same for me. I had read the UI was 1080 but had no clue that it was 4k on existing systems...did not think much of it since all my other devices have upscaled UIs and look just fine to me....and I place little value on UI except being easy to use and being able to get to PLAY.I had a C and now updated to the V. The Strato S is basically a "standalone C". Many good deals on used Strato S's right now. The main drawback of the Strato S is the slow download speed, as compared to a C + Terra (or V). Otherwise it behaves just like Strato C with built-in storage.Kinda wish now, they had just made a standalone C model....some of us do not need DV.
