Where is the 4K content and Paramount?

There were a lot of rumors prior to the closure of Kscape adding 4K content from it's current line of studios (that offer on disc) as well as adding Paramount. The platform is just fantastic and I even wouldn't mind paying a slight premium for content to integrate into the overall experience and integration that the Encore product line gives me. However, to remain viable, these holes really have got to be filled. I just can't keep adding 4K discs and treat them like 3D that I need to pop the disc into another player to enjoy. I know there will be no feedback from them until they happen but at some point 4K (and Atmos/DTS:X that only often comes with 4K) will be standard for many folks in this premium market. Just worried that the short closure scared these studios away. I thought they all wanted to make money.....:confused:

Yeah, I've come to realize that the K experience and ease of use has out weighed the source material. Therefore, I'm purchasing the best versions that the store has even if the 4K versions are available in physical media. For Paramount, I purchase the bluray and drop it into my disc server. Only purchase 4K in disc if they are highly rated, but so tired of physical media over the years of collecting in different formats. Will upgrade anything to 4K from the store as it becomes available. K has a great platform and just needs additional content. I know they obviously know this and are working with studios. Hopefully more will come soon!
 
I might have to break down and get a juke box for my Alto. The cost per disc is up there, but I might have to pull the trigger at some point, because I agree it's hard to use other sources (Vudu convenience or Blu Ray for quality) when you are used to Kscape.

I just ordered the DV700 for that very reason, and as a result of a previous post by SJHT, have chosen to go in the same direction. I was initially going to order the DV700 along with a Strato, but as of this moment, other than for the additional storage onto which I could place Blu Rays, the Strato buy me nothing. K has very little 4K content of interest (as in not current stuff) - so I purchased an Oppo 203 4K player instead for those situations where some 4K movie gets high marks from other owners. On my particular systems, 4K is certainly somewhat better than 1080P ( usually) but until K gets caught up with what currently available from other sources (e.g. Amazon), I will forego most 4K options and live with 1080P. I went down the K route in order to handle a physical disc at most, once. Going this route allows me to do that.

Unfortunately, the K experience is very addictive (very) so I would rather do without 4K until such time as K gets their act together.

Furtermore, the whole 4K thing is a mess. Maybe by the time K gets caught up, the industry will figure it out.
 
Any update on Paramount? After hearing the news about Top Gun 2, I really want to watch Top Gun on my Alto.
 
Many Paramount movies to add.....I really want to add Narc to my system. Good movie.
 
Yeah, I will be spending lots and free up room in my Vault. Lol. SJ
