US Digital Releases for September & October 2026

There haven’t been any updates to Well GO USA stuff, still waiting for Ip Man 3 HD to be converted to on the new models!

Had a faint hope they might look to get the 4K assets for all the movies and and Ip Man 4 and Master Z but right now I’d settle for 3 to be converted but I suspect it might be one never getting converted if there’s been a breakdown in that contract.

Prime and Vudu / Fandango both list Onslaught as being available tomorrow (10-6).
Thanks! It looks like Insidious: Out of the Further and Fall 2: Deadpoint are also joining the party. I guess Spidey didn't scare off the competition. (Let's be honest, the real competition is from Shout!'s double-feature "Linda Blair in Prison" movies Red Heat and Chained Heat.)

We should see Little Shop of Horrors tonight. Hopefully this will include both cuts in 4K HDR (or above).

I also hope that we see this title properly restored from the HD Compatibility Update that removed the Director's Cut as well as Extras. We've seen titles like The Corpse Bride get fully fixed during updates while other titles like Rocky Horror Picture Show get partially restored (still missing UK cut - will it ever return?).

It appears to be the theatrical 1h34m version only, not the 1h44m director’s cut. I was expecting this, so had also ordered the disc which arrived earlier, and am ripping both versions from that for my Plex server.

I gotta be honest, this one HURTS. I love this film and when I bought my K it was something I grabbed enthusiastically. Both cuts of the film with intros, deleted scenes, commentary on the original ending, etc. It was a real sign that K could replace a disc. Then, the Strato V happened and the HD Compatibility Upgrade removed the Director's Cut and all Extras (most focused on the DC so I guess that makes sense). But, the name of the listing also changed as it was originally "Little Shop of Horrors (Director's Cut)." A sign of things to come? It's been well over two years since the Strato V came out and the listing is still crippled. Or, put more succinctly, K has still taken something away that customers paid for.

To be clear, yesterday two products were released digitally: Little Shop of Horrors 4K and Little Shop of Horrors (Director's Cut) 4K. At the moment, K only has one. My sincere hope is that, much like we saw recently with some of the comedy titles, we see the second title added soon and with it the original Extras. Yes, as a second listing. Yes, I'm willing to re-purchase what K took away. I just want this title in its best quality on K.

And yes, of course, I have the disc on order. I'll be getting the Deluxe Steelbook package from the UK upon release. :)

I agree. Except the delay on the UK CEs is just too long to wait. After ordering several of them, I realized I have little use for the delay, the paper extras, or the double/triple space occupancy. I do like some of the spine artwork, but recently WB has been wasting that too. Speed Racer was the last straw. Wide box, tiny title key art.

Gruv often beats street date, as they did with my standard steelbook, so I’m doing that by default. I’ll make an exception for Crown Jewel CEs with decent box spine art and something interesting in the extras. So I get it in the case of Little Shop. It just didn’t tip the scales this time for me.

As for the Directors Cut coming to K later, I hope you’re right. The Special Editions of the Abyss and Aliens showed up about a week later as I recall. I learned my lesson from that, so I’m just putting this theatrical cut of Little Shop in Wishlist for now, especially since my 4K disc D2D hasn’t been honored yet. They sometimes do, so I’ll give that a beat as well.

It's a shame this is not already on the UK store. It is on the UK Apple TV store.

is this one worth a purchase? anyone see this one?
I saw it in theaters and it is a B action movie. It wasn’t as good as I thought it was going to be. It was still ok and I may buy it when it goes on sale. But I also bought Green Lantern, if that tells you anything 😀.

I would say rent it first, but it looks like it is $20 to rent now.

Lanterns: season-1 (2026) in C_SDR with Atmos from WB.

Hopefully they update this in HDR at some point. FYI, the atmos mix is badass with some really impactful bass (streaming notwithstanding). I just finished watching the season finale tonight on hbo-max, really enjoyed this high octane DC presentation.
Great show

My wife and I really enjoyed it. Fantastic Atmos with some real good infrasonics. Plays like a double-feature for Planet Terror or even Universal Soldier. Now just waiting on the D-Box MFX codes for a rewatch…

Karl (2025) in DV/HDR/SDR with Dolby TrueHD Atmos from Paramount

Removed
The Girl on the Train (2016) in HDR/HD/SD from NBCUniversal

So what happens to movies that are removed if you own them? Can you still download them after they have been removed?

Yes, all prior buyers will retain access to the title. You must look for it in your library as opposed to an active store listing, just like other digital stores.

Karl (2025) from Paramount had HD with Dolby TrueHD Atmos added as well
