Oldboy was previously available in HD quality on the Kaleidescape store from August 2016 through to the end of March 2020 along with the other two titles making up the Revenge trilogy, Lady Vengeance and Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance.

This is going to be interesting. The James Cameron co-directed 3D film arrived this last weekend with a resounding thud and will be largely swept off 3D screens in the next 7 days to make room for Star Wars. Ellison was at the theater owners' convention swearing to 45-day theatrical runs, will he stick by that? Note that the digital pre-order did not arrive on the release date to help promote the title, it showed up when all the receipts for the weekend were counted.

EDIT: Prediction… This isn’t a “movie” it’s a “concert event” so it’s ok if Paramounts drops it in a matter of weeks.
