Creator shows a an aspect ratio of 2.40 but it's actually 2.76. I sent In a change request to the support email.Added in HDR/UHD/HD with Dolby TrueHD Atmos from Twentieth Century.
The Creator
An ex-special forces solider protects the childlike form of the war-tipping artificial intelligence he was sent to destroy. Directed by Gareth Edwards. Starring John David Washington, Madeleine Yuna Voyles, Gemma Chan, and Allison Janney. Purchase and download today in 4K HDR with Dolby Atmos audio.www.kaleidescape.com
It also has the annoying double letterbox bars - the regular black masking, then another smaller not pure black masking to get it to 2.76. It’s very distracting. I wish K could get the masking correct.Creator shows a an aspect ratio of 2.40 but it's actually 2.76. I sent In a change request to the support email.
Just curious, when you see the not pure black secondary masking, is it in the UHD version, or the HDR version? It also has the annoying double letterbox bars - the regular black masking, then another smaller not pure black masking to get it to 2.76. I noticed it on the HDR version. I downloaded the UHD version and it’s on both. I’ve only ever seen this on films on K. Women Talking has the same issue. I’ve never seen this on a streaming service or physical media.Just curious, when you see the not pure black secondary masking, is it in the UHD version, or the HDR version?
They likely won’t change it. They show the closest AR that they currently support (2.4)…Creator shows a an aspect ratio of 2.40 but it's actually 2.76. I sent In a change request to the support email.
but if they can play the movie, don't they support the aspect ratio?? So why wouldn't they just change the label? They likely won’t change it. They show the closest AR that they currently support (2.4)…

Thank you.bMovies with Incorrect Aspect Ratio Information
I've been noticing some titles listed in the Kaleidescape Movie Store with aspect ratio information that doesn't match the actual movie file. I'm going to begin a list here so we can track and hopefully get them corrected. I try to get my projector's lens memory and screen masking system...www.kscapeowners.com
