Same for me.$9.99 for me and I purchased the HD version from Kscape... geez kind of a shit deal.
Mean Girls has blu-rays release by both Warner and Paramount, so I'm guessing which edition you used originally would be an indicator of which upgrade price you're going to receive. Didn't check the Oceans titles, but likely the same situation.I did disc to digital and I have the $9 price point. Never understand why sometimes it is one price and other times it isn’t. Especially when we see some say they got $5 for the D2D and others that did the same thing are nearly double the price??
I was referring to the Ocean’s titles, which are Warner and have always been Warner. I did D2D with the Blu-rays early on when I purchased my system. My update price is around $9 each. But you see others here with it less than $5. While $9 isn’t some astronomical price, it is still frustrating to see people that supposedly did the same thing as you getting a title for about half the price. This has happened MANY MANY times before. I remember going through this a lot when the LOTR titles came out as well. A shit show to say the least.Mean Girls has blu-rays release by both Warner and Paramount, so I'm guessing which edition you used originally would be an indicator of which upgrade price you're going to receive. I don't run the joint but I'm a big fan of the KISS approach: Keep It Simple Stupid... Already own it? Great $5 regardless Don't own it? Back in the day when we would grumble and get parity for prior D2D purchases. With the new cataloging is forever, that doesn't seem to be happening (likely other behind the curtain reasons too.) These days folks probably need to re-catalog all the discs they already did D2D upgrades on, so we can get the lower price on later editions.I was referring to the Ocean’s titles, which are Warner and have always been Warner. All of my Oceans 11-13 upgrade offers from D2D Blu-Ray cataloguing are $4.92…..must be dependent on the version as some said?Back in the day when we would grumble and get parity for prior D2D purchases. omg, please get it K! It is the best monster movie of all time IMO!Godzilla minus one dropped on streamers today.. Hurt my heart not to see it in the kscape movie store.
Would love to own this on K. I wonder what are the odds we also get Minus Color...in 4K.Godzilla minus one dropped on streamers today.. Hurt my heart not to see it in the kscape movie store.
100% with you on this. I know everyone talks about Criterion, but let’s face it: A) K doesn’t have the bandwidth to add the hundreds of movies this could entail, and B) since Criterion doesn’t distribute 4K flicks digitally what we’re talking about is a flood of new SD and HD offerings.I'd love to see them get a deal with Neon as they've been handling a ton of great films that haven't seen the light of day on K.
K has Neon titles in the UK store, including "Triangle of Sadness" in 4K and "Anatomy of a Fall" (this one only in HD, but there appears to be no 4K release of it.) I assume US distribution of Neon is impossible because of Criterion.100% with you on this. Neon, on the other hand, would provide access to a select amount of highly-requested award-winning flicks in 4K HDR; often films that don’t get discs immediately or only overseas. Neon has distributed the Cannes Palme d’Or winner the last four years and will do so again this year. That’s all good branding for K. Neon would be at the top of my list for new studios for K to pursue. (Or, maybe I just really really want Old Boy on K.)
I had Blu-rays cataloged and the same discount. Is this a 20th Century Fox thing? I assume it is.Looks like we now have the Abyss and Aliens special editions but you have to buy them separately at $24.99 each. I had the DVDs imported so I get whooping D2D discount of $3.32 on each.
Neon is a US company that makes their own films and distributes select foreign films in the US. Triangle of Sadness and Anatomy of a Fall are distributed by Lionsgate in the UK, hence their presence in the K Store overseas.K has Neon titles in the UK store, including "Triangle of Sadness" in 4K and "Anatomy of a Fall" (this one only in HD, but there appears to be no 4K release of it.) Adding another 100%. I think I've purchased more NEON discs than another other studio since getting my Kscape system.100% with you on this.
