I've noticed that NBCUNIVERSAL and Disney content isn't available in the UK store. Why is this the case and when will it change?

I saw a review of K from two years ago, where they said it was going to change but it hasn't and so my guess is it probably won't. It's a pity and I'd love to know why. Challengers is available at £50, which is a lot, but I'd prefer films to be available at a price rather than not at all.

Conflict of distribution rights I would imagine.

Challengers is available cheaper, elewhere in the Kaleidescape eco system - even for UK owners. Contact me by PM for details.

That's alright, I don't own a kaleidescape system yet. Thanks anyway

Kaleidescape does not comment on or offer any specifics of legal distribution contact negotiations, so any 'review' that states something like this is making that up on the spot or twisting Kaleidescape's official statements to fit a narrative.

Kaleidescape's typical content is that they're working to add as many studios to the store as they can. No more specific than that, no negotiation updates, no 'coming soon', just a blanket statement.

The AV Forum review says: It's worth mentioning that Kaleidescape has informed AVForums that although some glaringly obvious titles are missing from its UK store, that will rectify over time. Presently there’s no Star Wars or Jaws, for example. That was back in 22, so probably won't happen.

Looks like NBCUNIVERSAL has added their content to uk store today. Hopefully Disney follows

It's all there, wonderful. And so our credit cards no doubt will succumb to another massacre. But still no Gladiator.

Hi to everyone I have just brought a STRATO V MOVIE I have been reading the comments and I am concerned whether to keep it or not any opinions please

Will I enjoy it with the restrictions on the UK store? Is my main concern?

I was excited until I found this out

Thank you very much again for that. it really was appreciated. And I am going to give it a go. My concerns are in the long term is it going to become too stressful? This every time I want to book a film. That’s why today I was asking peoples opinion and your opinion about. Kaleidescape

thank you very much again that’s amazing one in 1 million. I won’t lie that was another concern. It did seem very daunting.

But after talking to you is giving me a lot more confidence thank you very much again 🤝✊🏻

Canada store from the UK is looking particularly good value at the moment, if follow the advice on how to access and pay for movies :)
