Hello All

I am upgrading my bedroom set up and looking between these two. What would you buy and why?

tcl x11 98 inch versus sony bravia 7 II 98 inch

I was told Bravia 7 II only in August but 9 II 85 inches can get in a few weeks. I feel 98 inches is more important and want to see if I should wait for 2 months.
 
In yesterday´s webinar, they said the 98" in September and the 115" in October. But this is for EU, might be different for the US.
 
hmm - replacing by 83inch sony a90J was not on my radar this year, but the 98 inch Bravia 7 looks very tempting
 
Not near as big but I've got a 75" 9 II on order. Delivery is scheduled for next Thursday. 🤓

I'm a big nit-nerd and I was initially excited about the X11L's brightness/gamut possibilities, but they lost me at the inaccurate tonemapping. Found a couple early videos (some in Chinese) and it looks like the 9 II is pretty much spot on in "Graduation Preferred" mode (at least up to 4100 nits or so).

Going to be moving my 75" Z9K to my living room and gifting my 75" Z9D to my in-laws. I tried to explain to them how cool the Z9D was back in it's day but their eyes just kinda glazed over. :LOL:

Wait until you visit them a see that they have changed the picture to DEMO/VIVID mode
