Strato K - latest backlog status & shipping info

Left California the 22nd, arrived MN the 28th.
Left MN the 29th, eta *back* to California Aug 3rd

seems like such an inelegant way to do it...

"Payment cleared" is you paying the dealer, or the dealer paying Kaleidescape. The latter gets your order in queue.

My payment to the dealer cleared on July 1st. Dealer's wire to Kscape cleared on July 3rd.
 
Anyone have an update on their orders since Tuesday? Looks like 7/3 orders are the most recent ones being filled
 
Most current pending orders should ship within 8 to 10 weeks. They ship the players as soon as manufacturing makes them available. Anyone that ordered within the last week, and future orders, are likely looking at 12 to 15 weeks. In any case, if you want one, better to get on the list as soon as possible. This is my understanding of the current shipping situation, things could change, and also keep in mind that I DO NOT speak for Kaleidescape, my comments are based on what I know about our pending orders, current production, and the timing of shipments.

These K Players are in high demand, and the pending orders queue gets longer everyday.

I had a client talk me out of one of my personal K's.....he was desperate..... 😂

Usually on a big ticket purchase I will mull it over for a bit before pulling the trigger, but in the case of the Strato K, literally right after I read about it I was contacting my dealer to order one! Highly unusual for me. K-scape really “leveled up” with the Strato K, 4KC, and hopefully 8K to come!

To clarify, mine shipped from Kaleidescape. It will go to my dealer first then get reshipped to me. I won't see it until next week sometime.

Fortunately, I have one of the best dealers who focuses on customer service. Thanks Jaremy @Techthusiasm !
