Strato K and SofaBaton set-up

I have been using the SofaBaton with a Strato E unit without issue.
I just received my new Strato K.
There is no simple Strato K option on the SofaBaton set up menu.
And None of the other pre-programmed Strato commands on the SofaBaton work with this K unit.

Anyone using a SofaBaton with Strato K successfully?

I am, but I don’t remember what the device I picked was named. I don’t remember teaching the SB everything from the K remote, though.

I just did a quick upload from my remote and named it Kaleidescape Strato K. I just looked for it and it hasn’t shown up yet. If it does, I hope it works for you.
 
Strange. Mine was there, I don’t remember doing anything special. I also had an E and moved to a K. I’ll look and see if it jogs my memory.

Try using the Strato C. That's what worked fine on my Strato V. I'm pretty sure codes are the same for the K.

Something weird is going on with your setup then since all of the commands (both IR and IP) are identical across all Stratos. If a remote works with a Strato E, it should work to the exact same degree with a Strato K. If the Sofabaton doesn't have a "Strato K" option, you should be able to pick any other Strato option.

Does the Sofabaton use SSDP or mDNS to auto-discover players and choose a driver? If so, that could be the issue since the Strato K would advertise itself as such.

Natively it only uses IR for K-scape devices. Sofabaton doesn't auto discover any devices. You can alternatively program in individual IP commands or use home assistant if you know.

I have the regular K-Scape remote and u mistakenly turned off these two options and killed my remote.

On my X2, the normal K-scape database codes worked with my V. My question is, does the K not work with the normal IR remote?

I will say the Sofabaton is slow to button press response on devices. Not just K-Scape but my AVR as well.

Only your TV code file worked .

And yes- I agree with others that claim - the SofaBaton remote is somewhat laggy with the K player

Actually, I don’t think that’s mine. I believe I classified mine as Stream Box, so someone else is owed your thanks.
