Sony's new 115" Bravia 9 II Pro RGB

Call me old fashioned, but no TV, office type workstation, surround sound, or subwoofers in bedrooms for me.

That is actually the best way to insure proper sleep according to the sleep experts.

Frankly I ordered the first one to replace an 85" in the kids media room, used mostly for their gaming, and only added a second one to the bedroom for two reasons:

1. Occasionally I'll want to leave the theater later in the evening and finish the movie in the MB, and want to keep the big screen "feel." The audio is already good in that room, I have a 13.2 channel Wisdom speaker setup, including Atmos, and although the 85" is a good size, I think the 115" is better fit for that space.

2. Being on the East coast, some West coast football games (especially college) finish late. I like the theater for games because of the screen size, but usually move to the MB by 11:00pm for the same reason noted above, but also because my Daughter's room upstairs is only offset from the theater by about 50', and although the theater is an isolated room within a room with a 15' ceiling, the Bass can sometimes reach her room just barely enough to disturb her sleep. My Boy's rooms upstairs don't have that problem, and no one upstairs can hear anything from the MB, regardless of how loud it gets.

We installed a 100" last weekend for a client, upstairs with a 90 degree turn. UGH. that one was heavy, you will need a small crane for this one. or a few aching backs!

According to Sony's website, the 115" TV is 250lbs, aka the weight of a 36" CRT. LG's 97" G6 OLED is 125lbs, which is like 20% lighter than a 32" CRT.

(If I seem like I am maybe scarred about the weights of CRT TVs, don't ask me about the third-floor sublet that I had to move one into, and then out of.)

Yeah, it’s not for me, but your rationale makes sense. Also, … a “13.2 channel Wisdom speaker setup, including Atmos”, in a bedroom?! You, sir, are way-over-the-top, on a forum where over-the-top is the norm!

I have a beautiful theater with all the accoutrement, new projector, high gain screen, great theater seats, Star ceiling and an awesome sound system supporting all the formats. Kaleidscpape Strato C and Terra sever for a few year and a Strato K arriving very shortly.
My wife prefers watching the bedroom. Yes I do have a nice OLED with surround sound sub woofer etc. but it doesn’t compare to the theater.
I wish it had the 115” RGB, My wife’s answer to that is “Keep dreaming”.
Not everyone thinks like Jim, you guys and me. It’s nice to share with like minded individuals here on the forum.

I only have a little LG G3 65" OLED with a Martin Logan 5.1 system in my home gym. I can't imagine this beast! I'm jealous. lol

I did a 55inch, and as soon as I put it up regretted not going bigger

“gym” is also a strong word for what we have. We used to have a functional trainer, but replaced it with a Tonal, along with a treadmill.

Nice! As the theme of this thread goes, bigger is always better

Nice workout room. I went with a Vitruvian instead of a Tonal, but similar approach. I've added a few other machines and equipment pieces. I'm actually using it now.
