It's not about K, it's about Netflix. Netflix generally doesn't make their content available outside of Netflix. I believe Lord of the Flies is a shared production involving Sony and BBC. So, it then becomes a matter of what rights the production companies maintained in their contract with Netflix.Does Kaleidescape ever obtain rights to Netflix or other streaming service movies? I am thinking "Lord of the Flies" on Netflix.
Other streaming services are spotty. We'll occasionally see titles from Apple TV+, Prime Video, Hulu, etc. It's all a matter of what they make available. Nothing is "special" about K in this area, they can access what is available to digital stores.
