Wife and I watched Pressure this weekend. Excellent movie...one of the best we have seen in awhile. We are both history buffs. We did rental...but I went ahead and bought the disc because it is one we will want to watch again. Went with disc since the K version does not have ATMOS. :(

Received the physical media version of Pressure last week and watched it this weekend. The atmos channel is used with nice effects, not the best atmos track currently available. I also plan on adding it to Kscape when it becomes available on the D2D.

Still no D2D for this title even thou it showed being catalogued....odd. Been several days and K store no longer shows it as premium/premium rental.

This seems to be mainly with Universal, I had the same issue with Mario Galaxy. Hopefully it won’t be to much longer 🙁

Really surprised with universal. Still waiting on Pressure. I was able to do a d2d for Mortal Kombat ii without any issues. The offer came through immediately.

I also was able to d2d Mortal Kombat 2 on the day it was released. I watched a few scenes and thought video and audio was great via 4k cinematic 👍

What is the probability/timing of Atmos being added?
Other digital stores have Dolby Atmos and K does not which usually means it’s lossy Atmos only from the studio. In those cases, we usually don’t see lossless Atmos added later.

The D2D for pressure is now available. Just added it to my library.
Thanks...went ahead and picked it up. But since I have the disc and its in ATMOS...disc will be the preferred method to watch. But for $5 nice to have on K just in case. This is a case where the rental option worked against me lol.we rented it on K...liked it...wanted to buy it but noticed the disc version had atmos so bought the disc instead. So i payed $7.95 to rent then $28 to buy the disc the $4.95 for the d2d.

Thanks for mentioning the Atmos disparity. This was not offered to us with Atmos by the studio, so it may have been a late addition to their plans. We've inquired about whether that asset can be made available.

That would be awesome. I have both the cinematic version and the disc. Although the atmos track is a static 7.1.2 mix (most of the activity relegated to the top middles), it does open up the sound stage and provides appreciable level of immersion and ambience.

Watched it as well, and enjoyed it quite a lot. Loved learning a bunch of details I didn't know about that part of the war

Is Lossy Atmos a superior audio experience to DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1?

I polled the forum on this previously and it was unanimous: Lossy Atmos is inferior to DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and isn't even worth including in a download. Seriously, not one person stood up for Lossy Atmos.

I ask because of the comments above regarding the hard disk Lossy Atmos version of Pressure vs. the Kscape version which is not Atmos. I believe Pressure on K is DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1

thanks.

Who said the disc has lossy Atmos? It should be full lossless Atmos on disc. Lossy Atmos is reserved for streaming or incredibly rare physical media releases.* Likely someone was pointing out that other digital stores have Atmos and K does not. When that happens, it's often the case that the studio is only distributing lossy Atmos digitally. In those cases, K opts for the lossless 5.1 track. However, above, K mentions they didn't even have the option for lossy Atmos so it may be something else.

*I know of a German 3D Blu-ray of Jurassic World: Dominion that includes a lossy Atmos track due to space limitations.)

Didn't you make that statement on Aug 11 (Post #10)?
This post where I discuss only the digital version?:
