What does that button do?Is there any way to add the "random" button that is on the Kaleidescape official apps remote to the Popcorn Ready app?

On the Covers view of the UI it shuffles the screen to like movies. What does that button do?
Yes, I think I should be able to add that. I'll mention it over in the thread about the app when I do the next release. On the Covers view of the UI it shuffles the screen to like movies.
I added that shuffle button, but I haven't been able to test it yet. Also got the movie format upgrade bulk process added. Check out instructions in the thread below:Is there any way to add the "random" button that is on the Kaleidescape official apps remote to the Popcorn Ready app?

I've used both and they are working as intended. Not a bad turnaround time for a feature request making its way into the appI added that shuffle button, but I haven't been able to test it yet. Also got the movie format upgrade bulk process added. Check out instructions in the thread below:
TestFlight Build 79 — Important format upgrade instructions
I’m moving the public TestFlight group from build 66 to build 79. The biggest change is a easier way to upgrade downloaded movies to newer formats such as 4K Cinematic.
Please follow this order:
- Go to Downloaded → Manage Downloads.
- Check Download Quality Preferences and arrange the formats in your preferred order.
- Open Add or Remove Titles and stay on Add.
- Use Best + for individual movies or Upgrade Multiple Titles for a batch.
- Review and submit the downloads...
I think I could add Wish List as a filter on the catalog view and then all of the other filters and sorts could be used on top of that. I'll look at it later today.I'm wondering if we can add the Wishlist to the Popcorn app? I'm asking because I was wanting to sort the Wishlist by Title but don't see that as an option on the Kaleidescape store.
Wish List added as a catalog filter in build 102 of the App that I just pushed to TestFlight. I also upgraded to Apple SDK 27 with today's Apple releases.I'm wondering if we can add the Wishlist to the Popcorn app? Are you going to have the app ready for the iPhone Duo? I saw a developer video, and it doesn't look like it would require too many changes, just a couple of different layouts to consider. Thanks again for all the work that goes into this.Wish List added as a catalog filter in build 102 of the App that I just pushed to TestFlight. Yes, that's the plan. The SDK 27 groundwork included a few changes so that things would automatically look pretty good on Duo. Unfortunately the Duo Simulator doesn't even come out until the 27.1 beta supposedly around the end of September. Are you going to have the app ready for the iPhone Duo? I'm working on adding that into Chrome in this next release...should be this week. But if you have iPhone/iPad/Mac (w/ Apple Silicon) I would suggest using the app instead of the Chrome extension. Is the 'Download' functionality going to be added to the Chrome extension (or if it is there, please tell me how I find it).
It would really useful to just glance through the 'updates' on there as a list - ideally showing what it 'new'. Because of my download settings (preferring C_HDR10) on the KS store I have multiple movies that have an 'update' which is C_DV that I don't want - these which show as 'will download' not 'will update'.
However, some of the C_HDR10 and C_DV versions have updates that I do want to download.
Chrome extension 3.2.8 just submitted to the store. It's not as pretty as the iOS app but most of the newer functionality from the app is now in the Chrome extension as well.Is the 'Download' functionality going to be added to the Chrome extension (or if it is there, please tell me how I find it).

Working on some iOS 27 features right now that will take a while, but when I get back into the Chrome code I could make runtime have a min and max instead of just max. That's great, thanks, updates now downloading!
Is it possible to add a lower end slider to the 'Runtime' filter? Having bought a ton of films, I've been trying to come up with some 'watchlists' - created a <2hrs one easily enough, but couldn't do >2hrs as easily as runtime is only filtered by max length. (I worked around it by sorting by decreasing run-length, so it was still easier than trying to do it on KS!)
Hmmm....let me think through how I could make that work without being overly complicated. Is there a way to keep more than one version when using the Cleanup tool if you have multiple players?
I have Strato K (projector) which is better with HDR10 and Strato E (TV) which is better with DV.
The Strato K replaced a Strato C, so I have a lot of downloaded in three formats: 4kCHDR10, 4kHDR10 and 4kDV
For titles without Cinematic options, the tool is suggesting I keep the 4k HDR10 one and delete the 4kDV version - I want to keep both but only having the HDR10 would be OK
However, for titles with Cinematic options, it is suggesting I keep ONLY the 4k Cinematic HDR10/4kCinematic DV (when no 4KCHDR10 is available) and would delete both 4k DV and 4k HDR10 which would mean the Strato E cannot play that movie at all.
KS has now added 'per player' options for preferences, not sure if you can see the players and do the same?
