New terra not downloading

Got my terra today, and it seems really simple to set up. Added it to my system, and it downloaded some documentaries that apparently auto downoad from Kaleidescape (Turtle Odyssey, Gray Eagles, Secrets of the Universe).

However, nothing else will download. It says next to my first download, "server not in contact", but it's attached to my network and has its IP address and MAC addresses displayed in the Component page.

There's nothing left on the instruction card left for me to do, but nothing is happening.

Any thoughts?
 
OK, I figured it out. I just removed the terra from the system and re-added it. Worked apparently, although now my Strato isn't listed. LOL, I'll get it sorted out.

try static IP addresses as there may be a conflict with other devices
 
Hope you manage to get this sorted out.

Not sure how long you’ve been waiting, but I was in a very similar situation when I installed my system (V and Terra) a couple of weeks ago. Turned out the system was downloading and installing a firmware update in the background.

Can’t remember exactly how long it took - maybe 30 minutes to an hour.
