New Studio: The Weinstein Company

I think there was already some Weinstein Company stuff in there before. I recall searching (I think) for Hateful Eight and Django some time ago and they were there. That said, a much larger number of Weinstein movies are there now that weren't before.

Indeed. Studio was/is Lionsgate though. For the new additions the studio is The Weinstein Co. and the older movies appear now under the new collection. Have they merged in the meantime?
 
These new titles ARE from a new studio - The Weinstein Company. The confusion is that the store has lumped in movies distributed by Anchor Bay/Starz (which is a subsidiary of Lionsgate) under “The Weinstein Company” Tab.

The only tie-in that I can see is that the previous Anchor Bay/Starz titles seem to have been released in theaters by TWC but Anchor Bay/Starz owned the distribution rights for digital and phiscal media in the USA. These latter movies still show as Lionsgate movies if you open them up.
