Greetings all,
We released an updated Kaleidescape Mobile App today for iOS and Android. This update restructures the main landing page of the app to remove the separate "Movies" and "TV" tabs. The landing page is now a combined single page as on the web store. Our usage metrics for the app showed that almost nobody was finding and clicking the TV tab, so we hope this change will make it easier for people to find TV content that interests them.
The "All" and "Genres" items that used to be in the top corners of the screen are now in a new menu in the top right corner of the landing page. Also in that menu, we've added the same lists of studios and featured collections that we've had on the web store, but that previously were not shown in the mobile app. I've attached a couple of screen shots so you can see what the new design looks like.
Note that if you update today (Thursday 3/9), you won't see TV content on the landing page just yet. The underlying data for the page should update on Friday.
Enjoy!
