But they list movies as 2.35 and 2.40, so they may as well make it accurate while they’re at it.The 1.85 listing for 2.0 is a bit aggrevating. The 2.4 vs 2.35 is basically semantics. Those labels are used synonymously for each other all the time, despite the fact that we see movies in either.
IMDB agrees. How was that movie? Been thinking about watching.Watched The Outfit which is listed as 1.85. My system configured it for 2.0 so that is likely the correct AR.
Purchased when was recently on sale. I enjoyed it. A bit slow but has some nice twists to the plot as it develops.IMDB agrees. How was that movie? Been thinking about watching.
Based on comparing it with a 2.40 movie on the OLED in my living room, I'd guess that it is indeed 2.55, or close to it. It's definitely a wider ratio than 2.40, and the difference in image height seems consistent with a 2.55 ratio.Anyone know if "The Bridge on the River Kwai" is 2.40 as listed or in 2.55 (which is the original ratio and what the disc is).
