Anyone seen the Sopranos on K? It’s my favorite show but I do have an HBOMAX subscription, wondered if anyone has compared both. Thanks!!
 
If i wouldnt have Sopranos on Bluray discs , i would definately buy them on K .
I compared quality from BD discs with streaming , and also from Sky Q satelite , and BD wins every time .
And as quality on K should be same as disc , its a no brainer if you dont own them yet on BD .
 
Streaming, Blu-ray and K versions are subtle in terms of video quality. But you can tell them apart when you do a direct comparison. The audio is something else and if you have invested in speakers, I can notice the difference. I purchased Sopranos in K with this incredible deal and I own the Blu-ray’s, DVDs and subscribe to HBO Max. If you enjoy the show and think that the current pricing is reasonable, go ahead and buy it. I do regret getting Sex and the City in the recent bundle sale. The price is ok, but I’m not sure it is worthy taking space in my server

I only owned The Wire on DVD and got the Full Series Bundle on K last night......put on episode 1 of Season 1 last night, and it's like watching the show again for the first time and definitely better than streaming, same with audio (with regards to streaming)......

The entire Pirates of the Caribbean at $9.99 is tempting, is that the lowest it's been?

Not even my D2D for BD was that low, but looks like D2D is same price now as 11/30 price for these......

I keep selecting and de-selecting all the Pirates sequels. I'm conflicted because the sequels are pretty lame. But it's cheap. So...what to do! LOL

Is there still a glitch with the D2D offers on the mobile app?

I read in a previous thread that D2D should be using the current sale price as the base for D2D offer…..pirates and frozen titles for example showing $9.99 and $14.99 for both sale and D2D for me for example….

Most studios (particularly Disney) don't give extra discounts for sale+D2D anymore, so your choice is the $10/15 sale price, $20 D2D, or $25/30 regular.

I have most of these already but it’s a healthy Disney sale for those missing any here.

Treasure Planet is a hidden sci-fi gem for those who are into the genre and unaware of the title. I highly recommend it. It is up there with Titan A.E. And the Iron Giant. Atlantis: The Lost Empire is a good sci-fi flick too.

I paid $14.99 each on the previous sale (not long ago).
 
Do Disney/Marvel movies ever go below $14.99 to the $9.99 or even D2D $4.92 price on a sale or bundle?

I tried searching the threads but seems like $14.99 is the bottom save for a post I read on twice yearly sales (when?) but it only mentioned Star Wars around May 4 and didn’t see a price…..

Marvel yes. When I joined K last November I picked up the then entire marvel collections for $9.99 each. I think it came up again in May sometime if not mistaken.

Disney $14.99 is the lowest I have seen.
