Mine is showing the update for LA Confidential, I think this is the third compatibly update to LAC, the only thing I noticed the first two times was it went from DTS-HD MA to TrueHD and it looks like this update it's back to DTS-HD MA

I haven't seen an update on it or Lock Stock. I checked my download history and nothing for either of these and they don't show up in my updates section but both movies are in my system and downloaded.

Lake George (2024) updated with video improvements. In fact, I had noticed a pixelation issue at one moment in the movie, and Kaleidescape swiftly resolved it and provided the update. Kudo's to Kaleidescape.
P.S. This is a slow-burn, neo-noir crime/comedy movie with great performances by Carrie Coon ("Leftovers," "Gone Girl,") and Shea Whigham (lots of movie credits). Better than I expected.

Why would anyone not want that?
It creates a hassle. There’s no content in those extra pixels that adds anything to the film.

It’s fine that you guys are against IMAX scenes but it’s just as ok for people to like them! I have a 16:9 screen and the IMAX scenes look awesome with the downside being I can’t use masking.
In an ideal world I’d have the same screen height on a 2.4:1 screen and extra width but given there are no affordable high contrast projectors which can light up a 185” 4.3m wide AT screen with enough nits for HDR, extra screen height is the next best thing.

I would re-buy a lot of movies if K had exclusive access to the taller IMAX aspect ratio. It may be a hassle for projectors, but for those of us on tvs they are awesome. I’m never buying a Nolan movie here until they have that.
I would just like to have the choice of IMAX AR or not. I guess at this point, it would be great just to have the highest audio format available on disc also available on the K version.
