Just popped into Walmart real quick and did my routine of checking what’s out on disk, and look what I found?
Why isn’t this on Kscape yet?
Unfortunately it’s $33.96 here but they do have Blu-ray and dvd version also.

Sorry, I was literally walking thru Walmart when I posted this.. but prior to checking out, I checked the Walmart.com price which was $29.95 and the Walmart employee had no problem matching that price in self checkout. Still kinda bummed this isn’t on Kscape yet. (Wish I knew how/could do D2D).

Send a request to K. That’s what I did….

Well I already bought the disk so.. now I’m just deciding if I should get a bluray player but only because the PS5 doesn’t play DV. However that kinda bothers me because the whole reason I bought the sV was so I didn’t have to buy disks. Also, my tv just looks better in DV 90% of the time.

Anyway, I’ll be curious to see/hear how much better the disk is than the Prime version!

My Steelbook arrived today. Hopefully this drops on K soon, as I will pick that up as well.

Having grown up with the original animated series, this has an element of nostalgia associated with it. Fwiw, I have the old 80’s He-Man movie (Dolph Lundgren) as well in 4k which was released recently by Toy Robot.

The prime streaming version looked and sounded great imho.

Watched this on Prime and enjoyed it....brought back some after school memories.

Shame it never came to K...once again confusing me but whatever ...seems to be no rime or reason anymore to what ends up on K.

Ill probably go ahead and get the disc since this is something I can see myself watching again and would like to see it on something other than crappy prime video.

Sheep Detectives had a theatrical release, moved to exclusively streaming on Prime Video, was released on disc, and appeared for digital sale (including K) 14 weeks after appearing on Prime. Masters of the Universe had a theatrical release, moved to exclusively streaming on Prime Video, was released on disc, and next week is the 14th week since appearing on Prime.

Just some random facts for the day that make me more hopeful than not.

P.S. Masters of the Universe has apparently been quite the hit on Prime Video so it's possible Amazon will want to continue milking that for a bit. Having said that, next week is pretty weak on digital releases and something could really shine over the Holiday weekend as studios prepare to drop their theatrical horror titles the first week of November (I'm looking at you Resident Evil).

I will probably just hold off until it finally arrives on K. I've held out this long, why not another week, month or year. 😁. I can't bring myself to watch this on prime.
